Now before I get people accusing me of "piracy", I would just like to make it clear that I bought a valid copy of Skyrim off of steam. And yes, I probably can prove it depending on whether steam allows others to view what games I own.
There are often times that I literally just do not have internet access, which unfortunately is a necessity to play games through steam. Yes it does have what they claim to be an "offline mode", but this still requires you to first log into steam with an internet connection first. So as annoying as it is, I currently have to have internet access to play a game that shouldn't even require the internet in the first place.
So are there any ways I can bypass steam and play skyrim without it? And if there is a way to do that with the creation kit too, I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me.

I'm afraid there is no way to do so.
I'm not sure if this would work, but you could try.
When you go into offline mode, and stay in that untill you log off again it should ask you what you want.
Either online mode or offline mode, maybe it will work then.

No, it's not possible to play Skyrim without Steam. Use the offlinemode, that's why it's there.
You can access offlinemode any time - you just need to go into it once with a connection at any point prior going into offline mode directly so that Steam "saves" the data of your account and knows that you got those games.

Yeah, provided you've logged-in to your Steam account at some point on that machine there should be no problem with using offline mode - I've had to use it a few times recently when my connection was down and it worked perfectly fine. Sometimes if you're physically connected to the modem/router but have no internet access you need to un-plug it otherwise it seems to time-out trying to connect and gives you a generic error.

You need to first tell steam to run in offline mode, then it will let you launch games without requiring internet access.
If you haven't told steam to run in offline mode, and try to access a game it tell you to enable offline mode.
This is the only other way I know of. Even if you try to launch the game with the .exe from the steam folder, it still launches steam.

Well you've already bought the game, I see no reason not to just torrent it, as long as you don't seed.

Yep... pirate it, although I don't recommend that.

Don't pirate it, that's stupid - just run Steam in offline mode.

You could always play it on a console.

If you bought the disk copy, you would've gotten the steam edition for free.
