Any groundbreaking news for this "project"? Haven't been active in here for quite a while - mainly because I haven'T had anything witty to say Just somewhat wanted to say I still support this and just wanted to ask if there were any news ^^ (already checkd the first post for info ^^)

^ This is why you spend money and resources to make things like colored glass and light happen, Mojang.

No not really, just more support which is always good.

Oh wait, yes. There was someone who successfully made a colored light mod with the current version of Minecraft. it's a little buggy but it proves that it is indeed possible. -_^

Fantastic idea! This kind of glass would be great for churches and other structures! Even though this might cause lagging, it would be a great edition to the game!

(Also, you could be able to add the colored lights with torches as well, along with making colored glass PANES.)

Just some more thought on the colored glass-aspect of this suggestion: In its current state coders decline this idea for the fact that the transparency-functions are lacking. What if you would add color only to glass panes? This seems more easy to achieve as you literally can't look side-ways into another colored transparent block that way, thus the current balance is kept. Seeing through colored glass and looking at other transparent entities should just do the same as with ice. Has this idea already been brought up? In that case I'd like to hear the results whether it is possible or not?
