Maybe add error log? To show it, im using MC Patcher (Run mc patcher, adjust ram value and click test)
But now i can only tell you this:
1. You are using wrong version of Forge
2. You forgot delete META-INF folder

I did delete meta-inf, I installed forge for minecraft 1.2.4 on my minecraft 1.2.4, I installed modloader, modloadermp and forge in the proper order, I have no error log, *sigh* I think I'm just going to wait for the official mod api.

Error log of some kind needs to be posted.

Make sure that your versions of forge modloader and modloarderMP all match. Just downloading the latest versions WILL NOT WORK. Also make sure you're working from a fresh download of the minecraft.jar. I was having the same problem and this was the only fix I needed. Also I would suggest working from 1.2.3 because that's where most of the major mods are updated to right now.

Um, this is the exact same problem that is plaguing my version of Minecraft as well. However, as an important note, I am using Minecraft 1.2.5 with snapshot 12w21b. Is the version I'm trying to install forge client side 3.2.3.108. Is it compatible?

If you are running on a mac like I am, check to see if there is a net folder in Forge.
Go into the net folder in forge and copy the Client folder into the net folder in the mincraft.jar one.

PS. the client folder is inside the minecraft folder inside the NET folder.
PPS. This is for Minecraft 1.2.5.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS 1.2.5 12w21b, no mods except for toomanyitems are compatible with snapshots, fucktard.

ModLoader and Forge aren't compatible with eachother. Pick one or the other, and they'll work like a charm. (Can't say the same with server operations, Forge always stops doing it's "downloads" and ModLoader just plain doesn't work far as I can tell...)

Well when ever I try to install forge I just get this (Downloading libary rg.scala-lang:scala-library:2.10.2), then it goes to (Unpacking packed files rg.scala-lang:scala-library:2.10.2). Then it freezes and stays that way. I even let it sit there for a few hours.
