Doing a lot of research on the problem. Trying multiple "solutions" but nothing seems to fix it. It's quite frustrating by now. I don't think I have a lot of time to work on a definite solution over the week. Please have some patience. I just hope that I will ever be able to fix this problem.

I feel your pain. Dont worry, all mods go through phases like this. Goblins took five months to get its act together, but was great when it did. Atmosmobs is great, it just has a bug at the moment. No big deal. Let us know if you want specific stuff testing etc.

Im getting the sun/moon glich but only with the sun, Why? because night never comes! The sun goes back the same amount it went forward. Its not lag or anything and unlike Mohawky said blocks are not reset?!?!?

It IS caused by lag, it just makes fewer ticks occur everytime. These ticks make the sun and mobs move update. TickHandling has always been one of my problems, because I never intended to go into server coding. I'm not much of a coder, you know... So I can change my TickHandling and I will have to make all code more effective in order to prevent lag from happening.
Also, creating a new world could mitigate the lag issue.

And inversion 1.2.3 can there be a pink flower mantis,and also add a new item, raw bee. Used to tame mantises!^^
And about the lizard, the your wiki said that the darker colored lizard is the gila monster, and gila monitors should be red and black, and it sort of looks like the salamander from your mod. And it is posionuse too...
I'm wondering if it's possible to deactivate and/or change the drops of certain mobs in atmos. Is it?

here should be a folder called config in your .minecraft folder. Check the contents and find teh AtmosMobs.cfg file. Open it with Notepad. Here you see some settings in the General section. Change true to false behind the features that you want to turn off."
I don't have any such file despite running the mod.

try opening the zip file -- sometimes some mods have the mods and resources in the zip for organization. minecraft comes alive is another one like this.
Also:

Salamanders at least for me need to be turned off completely or else they spawn uncontrollably, even with mob spawn controls setting them to 1. They eventually lag the game out for me.
EDIT: for clarification I am not running any other creature mods whatsoever -- or twilight forest. Just IC2 buildcraft and the other techic type mods.
