Ever wanted to make your own underground bunker, load up with a bunch of supplies and and just wait out the zombie apocalypse? Well now you can! If you're looking for crates, boxes, barrels, or anything else that has do do with storage, consider using:

The Barrels and Boxes Texture pack
This texture pack re-textures most man made blocks to look like stuff for storing things.
It also changes some other things to be vents, computer screens, lights etc.

When i saw the banner, all i could think of is this
OT: I like the idea, but you could use different kinds of planks for different crates. No, i can't think of any examples.

You mean i should re-texture the new wood planks to be crates?

it looks nice, but it isn't really finished.  i like of how some blocks have been retextured to fit the theme, but the normal, bright minecraft colors pop in your face compared to yours.

Hmm... I see what you mean. I was trying to make the textures fit in with the default ones, but I kinda failed on that one I guess.

Sorry for the lack of response; No, that's not exactly what i meant, but you could make them into chest panels. What i was trying to say is that you should make several new plank textures for different crates, like is dark and dirty/battered, while another has a more reddish hue. You know, like you did with the stone slabs.

Any 1.2.4 texture pack already works in 1.2.5, because no blocks or items were added, it was just a bunch of bug fixes.

Haha! I like this and the idea behind. Something about boxes and crates that always appeals to me. Probably the instinct to rummage around inside for hidden treasures.

Note: To create the barrels, three half blocks must be stacked on top of one another (the wooden barrel is made of sandstone slabs and the oil drum is made of regular stone slabs.)
