...Too bad i don't own an XBOX. (PS3 ftw) I may get one in the future. This sounds great though.
I just hope that they will improve the PC version more than the XBOX one so that people without an XBOX can still feel "special".

Friday, March 23rd - mark it on your calendars. Up until now, there has only been speculation and rumor on the release date of the sandbox indie console port, but soon - very soon - we will know exactly when we can play Minecraft on the XBOX! That's right, on March 23rd, the official release date for "Minecraft: XBOX 360 Edition" will be announced!

I'm not going to be disappointed. As it stands right now, my computer runs Minecraft at a steady and solid 12 frames per second on the lowest settings possible.
I can't play this game unless I have Optifine downloaded.
Sure, I'm going to miss out on a lot of user-generated content (mods, textures, etc etc) but the majority of my friends said they'll be getting MC360, and I won't ever have to deal with setting up my own private server ever again.
I, for one, will not be displeased, but rather relieved.
