They spawn on leaf blocks attached to wood at an elevation of 80 or higher, and jump down on the player to attack. Drop leather on death.

I'm no expert but isn't a drop bear and a koala the same thing?

I've made an update on the lists today, tried to include everyone who's took the time to leave feedback. I'll add details that I've left out for now, later. Working on my texture packs again today. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

It's called...
Sphinx: One of the mythical cats which has Human head. It's almost as huge as dragons and it sits and stays in one place and one place only. It will only attack once the curious player tickles its toes BUT then it will go back to where it sat before once the player either dies or gets away from his/her inevitable death. Sphinx's spawn rate is quite rare but should easily be spotted if the player venture to desert biome for quite a while. It drops golden sword, soul sand and Fire Charge once defeated.

Actually a drop bear is just a made up creature we Australians sometimes use to make people look like idiots when they go into a forest an all that. Though you were close saying about the koala since they are meant to basically just be evil savage koalas.
Also a suggestion I have is a War Horse, which is about the speed of a unicorn and more health an takes less damage but you could also equip it with armour to make it stronger but make the horse slower.

I think all of those ideas should become a mod.

This is one I was thinking of suggesting, but I didn't see how it could work... this might, but it would probably be more interesting as a boss mob than a random spawn.
On another note: your sig thing is wrong. I haven't shaved in a month and a half

That's the mythology I remember, and the riddles were always almost impossible to solve except for the hero of the given story.

lol umm.....it's Minecraft? You pretty much could do anything you want with Sphinx if it ever existed in Overworld.
p.s: probably tame it with flowers and breed it with apples?

You have a very good point here. But I think it has been attempted to stay somewhat true or least be inspired by traditional myth/legend. For example, werewolves being weak to Gold in the absence of Silver. However, for the sake of simplicity in the list and to basically leave it to Dr Zhark as I could. I've only listed things like the name, brief description possible biome placement and such where I've listen the creatures. Like you say, it's Minecraft, he could go anywhere he wants with it. But he does seem to favor leaning on already established beliefs about the creatures he adds and only changes it where Minecraft itself doesn't allow or makes it difficult to implement and exact implementation into the game.

lol yeah, I was bluffing about the apples and flowers (which are quite frolicking for a mythical creature). Anyway, my point was that isn't DrZhark's Mo'Creatures should be all about the creatures? Not about the puzzles? Minecraft does encourage people to make stuff that is complex but rather fun not stressful. Though, if Sphinx does exist in DrZhark's Mo'Creatures, its huge size should be enough to intimidate the players and make them try to solve the "puzzle".

I think you're talking my language on this one. Add creatures, give them characteristics - strengths/weakness, and leave the puzzle making to people who make adventure maps.

Hammerheads could be made to "flee" from the player for a short time, but come back to attack if pursued. Can only spawn near the coastline, and only eats stingrays, mantarays, jellyfish and smaller fishes. It keeps it's distance with bigger mobs, like other sharks or dolphins, but will retaliate if attacked. Drops 1-2 Shark Teeth and, rarely, 1 hammerhead shark egg.
Tiger sharks are agressive towards anything moving rapidly. Like the ocelot, tiger sharks react to movement, but, instead of running away, they attack. If you are moving slowly, and don't make any sharp movements, you may survive. They are faster than other sharks, and pack a little more of a punch, but, in turn, are a little weaker. Can detect movement at twenty cubes of distance, but only reacts agressively if you get ten cubes close to it. Eats dolphins, turtles, and pretty much anything else but sharks. Drops 0-3 Shark Teeth and, rarely, 1 tiger shark egg.
It occured to me, maybe killer whales could be added too, just so sharks don't massacre dolphins. Orcas would feed on sharks and pretty much anything that dares to approach a big body of water. If you know orcas, they shore themselves to get their food. That would be an interesting mechanic. They would prey on everything but dolphins, would only spawn on deep, large bodies of water, and would have a LOT of health. They would drop 0-2 orca teeth, and 2-4 leather.
I think those would be my suggestions. Tell me if I made any spelling errors or anything else. See you!

Some kind of shark would be cool great idea. Maybe a great white since oceans are bigger now and theres room for one. And orcas are a sweet idea too+

Living dirt: a harmless mob that looks like a dirt or grass block that will follow the player and stop moving if the player looks at it. follows player until it despawns. occasionaly makes zombie or ghost sounds.hard as bedrock. maybe an enderman that picks one up get special ability?
testificate angel: spawns when a villager is killed by a zombie or the player and will kill the killer and then despawn.
also a side idea. what if werewolves look like villagers during the day?
