BLANK FANTASY BASED STARTER MAP FOR ANY MAP MAKERS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.
The Big Adventure Series
After playing so many custom maps and making a few of my own, I had the idea to make a map I have never seen before. Minecraft allows us to create anything we can think of, big or small. It occurred to me, why not put the player in a giant room filled with giant things like desks and beds? Then after completing the first room, I thought, why not finish the whole house?
The big adventure series starts you off exploring in the footsteps of the house's only occupant, a mouse. Clues like tunnels in the walls show you where he might have traveled or what he might have left behind. Trying to survive in most adventure maps can be hard enough, but try doing it from the perspective of a mouse.
One-Day Adventure Map Series
One-day adventure maps are for players who don't have the time for long maps but still want the enjoyment of them. One-day adventure maps (or ODAM) compress every element of a full-scale map--story, survival, exploring and treasure--into a map that most players will complete within a few hours to a day.
Rules:
-No hacks, no mods. (The only exception to this rule is for LP'rs to provide enough light in their videos for their viewers.) -Stay within the map boundaries. -Break what you like. -Dig where you like. -Craft whatever you think will help. -Kill what you can, and try to survive.
-DO use your favorite texture pack.
-DO make an LP and inform me so I can support your channel.
-DO post your adventures and feedback so I may continue to produce quality maps.
Recommended: Play on any difficulty level but never on peaceful. Follow the story line and/or objectives.
All of my maps have been play tested for both ssp and smp by medium to high skilled players.
All of my maps have been converted to 7zip format.
Side note: Verques is pronounced "E(verques)T" like the game. Was a big fan when it was popular.
"The Great Cheese V4 Final" Latest installment. Follow in the smallest minecraft footsteps to recover the cheese in my new "big adventure" series. Version 4 has been released with one more room added. Two inches tall? Not a problem. Go through, around and up in this gigantic world to complete the Great Cheese Monument. 26 pieces of cheese with 4 bonus pieces to find (see screenshot) along with the 24 bonus lights, fire and water quests to activate and complete. Play tested at 4-6 hours of game play on the first room, 5-7 on V2, and 7-9 on V3.

Just looking at the screenshots I am already inpressed. WOW! I cannot wait to get started!
The map itself was beautiful, I really enjoyed the view, even though the map was HUGE!! Like the perspective is probably what makes it so fun to just navigate around.
*TIP* I had no idea what I was looking for, I found one of the lamps and I turned it on, later on I died and went to check in the monument room, and I didn't know which light I had turned on, the fact that we are constantly getting attacked by mobs, prevents us (or at least me) from being able to know where we are and what exactly we are doing.
I did not finish the map because (a ) I died and lost everything, (b ) I got lost too many times, (c ) like I said above, I had no idea what I was looking for, so the goal of the map was quickly lost. I give this map a 23 out of 25 possible points.
Thanks for the great submission Verques.
An abandoned project looking for a good home:
This map was named The Realm but was barely started. The map has no structures, spawners, traps, etc. I abandoned it because of other projects and the lighting wasn't working correctly. I give full permission for anyone to do anything with this map, all that I ask is that if you do make a map for players to play, you will let me know so I can download and play it too. =) The future owner of this map will spawn at the very top of the map and in creative mode.
Please give feedback so I can continue to make quality maps for this community.

Nice work so far on the LP Bansare, looks great! Also you pronounce Verques as Everquest minus the E and T. Was a big fan of it when it was popular. Show your support for my maps and his LP here:

Seems I do not have permission or not enough brain power to figure out how to add a poll on this post. Anyways, was just wondering which of the three maps people were liking the most so far. As much as I like to just make maps the way I want to, I prefer to find out the communities likes and dislikes and create my maps around that.
So, let me know.
A. The Lady and the Guardian - Adventure
B. Unbound - CTM
C. The Infinite Improbability Drive - Surrealism
A simple letter will suffice. Thanks for any input.
