This mod is "sort of" a work in progress. I have thoroughly tested it on multiple platforms with no error, but I may have missed something. I installed the mod, and I have experienced some problems. For most of the explosives, when I activate them, they just turn into a white, smoking piece of primed TNT that doesn't do anything. The only one that seems to work for me is the Tunneling Explosive. I'm hoping this can get fixed Posted Image .

What? The explosive will turn to a solid white primed TNT, but they should go off in a few seconds! I'll re-install it on my Minecraft and try it. Are you using the newest ModLoader and Minecraft 1.2.3?

OK, I've just re-installed everything in minecraft and installed the mod on a fresh minecraft.jar file. It works fine for me. I need to isolate this error so that I can fix whatever is causing it. What OS are you running? Did you already have some mods installed?

Has anyone else had this problem? I've tested this on 2 of my computers and it works fine, so I'm not sure what could be causing this.

@Crazy1Duke1: I've tried again today to find that error, but still no luck. I've installed it on multiple computers with different operating systems and I haven't gotten that error on any of them. If you get it working let me know how, so that I can attempt to fix it and post a warning to other users. Thanks for pointing it out in the first place. To everyone else who installed this mod, let me know if it works for you.
Last time I posted a mod 7zip had corrupted the files and it was giving everyone an error, so I want to make sure that doesn't happen this time.

It turned white and started smoking, but did nothing else for several minutes. I did have the latest Modloader and 1.2.3, and some other (inactive) mods as well. I'll try to install this again, and I appreciate the help.

Helllloooooo new competitor
but seriously just the other day I was thinking, "It'd sure be nice to have a third explosives mod to work with" - And here you are!

Also, you have some bugs in your naming and your renderers aren't working properly

Also, you might want to find a way to make the edges on the area your bigger bombs delete more ragged. Right now it looks like a chunk error.

@Pheenixm: Dude, your mod is awesome. Seriously, it's currently the best of it's kind and I will probably come nowhere near it in awesomeness. I spent hours with it blowing up completed adventure maps and server worlds I'd downloaded. The reason I made this mod of my own was because I always thought "Hmm, wouldn't it be cool if it included [blank]?" so I compiled a list and made my own explosives mod. Granted, I did make some similar (The Nuke, mainly) just to make it a complete mod but I have no intentions of competing with you. I also don't own a very good computer, so the main focus of most of my explosives mod was to be easy on the processor+RAM (something that almost all other explosives mods lack). To do this, I mostly use block reassignments (like WorldEdit-style stuff) rather than actual explosive routines, which eat up more RAM.

I'll take your advice and work on the larger explosives, because you are right, they just look like chunk errors right now. I also need to work on getting the primed explosives to "blink" rather than just make solid white cubes.

Thanks for the advice, I like getting an expert opinion.

No problem man, thanks for the complements :D I use competition in the sense that our mods both focus on the same area, not that we're competing for users (since our mods are compatible). Truth is, I actually collaborate a lot with the maker of More Explosives. And for the edges, try a random number generator for a certain area beyond the for loops so that blocks in that area will only be set 0 if rand(int)==0
Also, I'll PM you the rendering code

@Pheenixm: I know I told you by PM, but THANK YOU!! I'll try out the random number generator to make the edges look rough, anything can look better than a flat drop off.

@SpinGamer: Certainly! I'd like to view it first, but yes, I'll post it in the title thread. :)

@SpirFir3Tornado: Well, it's based off them, yes, but the explosives in this mod do not copy anything from those mods, so you can't accurately call it a rip off.
