So, I'm watching the news, and I see that last Thursday, a new bill was passed secretly by Obama and the legislation.
A bill that will count any form of discontent or negative action(Speaking out or Signs, etc.)aginst the government during a meeting or gathering of any kind will count as a Fellony, and can be punished with a year in federal prison.
This gives the Secret Service the ability to throw any protestors in prison for a year JUST for giving their word.
"WELL, HUNTER, DAT'S GUD CUZ DEN DUM HIPPIES WONT BAD TALK BOUT' MA OBAMA."
If you are thinking the following, you, my friend, are ignorant.
This directly violates the right to Freedom of Speach, which the US has so greatly held for so long.

-Nice job, America

Obama's not doing this because he's ignorant of the consequences, he's actually TRYING to turn the US into Soviet Russia.

Discuss, unless you're afraid to get imprisoned for giving your word now.

First of all a socialist country can have freedom of speech. Socialism is an economic system for the most part, not a political one. Secondly provide a link or something otherwise it didn't happen.

Nope.
1. I need links with proof.
2. Illegal to secretly pass legislation. All passed stuff is posted on a government website.
3. The supreme court would block it if it violated the first amendment.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

I mistook my meaning of Socialist, I had other things to mind.
I meant as in Soviet Russia, where they imprisoned those who spoke out aginst the government.
And I found it on the news this morning.
Might be on ABC news, or CBC.

Supreme Court's run on idiots persuaded by big companies and buisnesses.
They don't even let us vote on the bills, as they used to.

Anyone who does not question their own government, but rather questions people who questions their government deserves what they get.
Don't fear the ripper.

Trying to, but they didn't have a name for the bill, as far as I know..
Possibility that they could've removed it, censor, as it is called.
They have the power to do that....

Edit: Can't find an article on ABC news, it has probally either been removed, or not made yet.
News was made just this morning.

Ok well if you find a link please reply as I am really interested in this. There is not one true definition for socialism and there are different levels of it, but yah it is usually referred to as an economic system.

I think this is what you are refering to. http://ireport.cnn.c...1010?hpt=hp_bn1 It was passed in the house at 399-3 last week and then Obama signed it. What it means is that some events such as G8 will have areas where protestors can not go. They can be placed in 'Free speech zones' around the area, but some areas will be out of bounds, for safety I'm guessing.

I believe he means this one, voted on last week:
http://docs.house.go...12hr347-SUS.pdf

So it actually says nothing like that at all. Please don't just parrot what headlines you see. Actually read the source material.

It does give Secret Service the ability to jail protesters.
Which STILL DOES VIOLATE freedom of speech.
