no this has been known a long time. but does this code say you can smelt coal, redstone and lapis too? or am i reading it wrong, as i dont code myself?
[/quote]
the left parameter is the input from the upper furnace slot
the right is the output.

this is handy because of the silk touch enchantment.

also i read it wrong, i thought you are able to smelt a diamond to a diamond just for the lulz. diamondOre to diamond isnt a big deal. sry.

well, the secret at least is not a recipe, or it's coded elsewhere, where you wouldn't expect it. don't want to search for that one though

I'm guessing it is the new sandstone but have no idea what the recipe is. Something to do with sandstone and sand????

This Xbox 360 Minecraft seems cool but I would like a bit more updates about pocket edition.

Piracy is Darwinism. If you create a good product, it will spread like wildfire, and if handled correctly by producers, can lead to more profit than what may normally have resulted.

Products that fail will either die off or force their creators to revamp it to something that people will like and want to spend their money on.

Give people a good reason.

Well... just for fun I went looking through the code. This may be unrelated, but it's something I found... interesting...

	if ((paramyr.aA.equals("deadmau5")) && (a(paramyr.Z, null)))
	  for (int k = 0; k < 2; k++) {
		float f2 = paramyr.w + (paramyr.u - paramyr.w) * paramFloat - (paramyr.be + (paramyr.bd - paramyr.be) * paramFloat);
		float f3 = paramyr.x + (paramyr.v - paramyr.x) * paramFloat;
		GL11.glPushMatrix();
		GL11.glRotatef(f2, 0.0F, 1.0F, 0.0F);
		GL11.glRotatef(f3, 1.0F, 0.0F, 0.0F);
		GL11.glTranslatef(0.375F * (k * 2 - 1), 0.0F, 0.0F);
		GL11.glTranslatef(0.0F, -0.375F, 0.0F);
		GL11.glRotatef(-f3, 1.0F, 0.0F, 0.0F);
		GL11.glRotatef(-f2, 0.0F, 1.0F, 0.0F);
		float f5 = 1.333333F;
		GL11.glScalef(f5, f5, f5);
		this.c.a(0.0625F);
		GL11.glPopMatrix();
	  }

Anyone care to explain why "deadmau5" is in there? XD

Quote my post to make sure I see it.

The 'secret' is probably similar to how snow and iron golems are 'crafted.'

You don't use the crafting UI, you build it.

Edit: either that, or the dragon egg does something, somehow that no one's noticed.

It's special code specifically for deadmau5's ears. His character model is different than the normal player's. (I think. I'm not exactly good at reading code. I know he has a special model, and it's in every copy, just disabled. I THINK that looks like it.)

Also, though, on piracy. Notch is really smart at this. I played on a nearly entirely pirated server when I first started multiplayer.
Now, almost every person from that server has purchased a legitimate Minecraft account.

Ah, that makes sense. His ears are quite large... lol. Thanks for clearing that up.

Well damn, I was wondering how his character model was like that. Why isn't this on the wiki yet?

This is aprils fools joke...

It's not April yet. Failed it. My guesses are:

1: It's an existing item, just a new way to craft it (i.e. Chainmail, as stated in some earlier comments)
2: It's a way to make those sandstone-hieroglyphic blocks.

It's not a recipe this article misquoted it... He said specifically that all the recipes had been found but SOMETHING hadn't.
