the left parameter is the input from the upper furnace slot
the right is the output.

this is handy because of the silk touch enchantment.

also i read it wrong, i thought you are able to smelt a diamond to a diamond just for the lulz. diamondOre to diamond isnt a big deal. sry.

well, the secret at least is not a recipe, or it's coded elsewhere, where you wouldn't expect it. don't want to search for that one though

The 'secret' is probably similar to how snow and iron golems are 'crafted.'

You don't use the crafting UI, you build it.

Edit: either that, or the dragon egg does something, somehow that no one's noticed.

It's not April yet. Failed it. My guesses are:

1: It's an existing item, just a new way to craft it (i.e. Chainmail, as stated in some earlier comments)
2: It's a way to make those sandstone-hieroglyphic blocks.
