I am working on updating Magiz for the current version of minecraft, but there are problems.

I've tried to update Magiz for 1.3.1, but I had tons of errors. When I fixed them, and tried to run MC, it crashed. I later found out, that it was aparently a weird thing with ModLoader, editing a file, which apparently makes MC crash. I tried to fix it, and finally MC would run. However, 97% of the mod is broken. - Item textures does not show up
- Item names does not show up
- Entities instantly disappear
- The console is spammed with weird things, indicating that there are some weird errors concerning dimensions (ModLoader problem).
- The items does not show up in the creative menu

Introduction:
This mod introduces the power of magic to Minecraft. Via magical staves, this mod adds a bunch of magic spells, useful for both combat, but also general stuff, aswell as less general stuff.
If you have any suggestions for spells, I would love to hear them! If I decide to add your idea into the mod, you will be in the credits.
Also, I try to make this mod as compatible with other mods as possible, which is why I try to use the same ID's for several items, by using damage in the same way as dyes and wool does. This, however, means that some staffs & items may not be found in the Creative Menu. However, you can get all of them from the Staff of Creativity.

To get started with using Magiz, you need to get a few things first.

Key items are used in crafting recipies, to decide what you want to charge your staff to become.

Description:
Creativity:
When used, it opens a GUI that will enable you to do a lot of stuff, like:
- Get ANY of the staffs
- Change your gamemode
- Turn spell cost on/off
- Make spells fly MUCH faster
- Creative only staffs
- And more!
Repulsion:
"Kicks" a mob in the direction of the spell it is hit with.
Higher steps:
Makes you (for a time) able to step over 2 blocks.
If used while already using it, the time will be increased.
Pain:
Hurts the target mob.
Explosion:
Makes an explosion.
Arrow Shower:
Makes arrows rain at the point / mob, the spell hits.
Thunder:
Summons a lightning where the spell hits.
Location:
Acts like an Ender Eye, but without gravity.
Draining:
If the player has lost health, it damages the enemy by 1, and heals you by 1.
Lightness:
When activated, you will fall safely to the ground, taking no fall damage, and falling at a slow speed.
:Note:
:This spell does not summon a spell entity, but works instantly.
Summoning:
If a block is hit by the spell, it will be destroyed, and dropped at your position to pickup.
If a mob is hit by the spell, it will be teleported to your position.
:Note:
:The block that will be dropped at your position is the same as the block you gather, meaning that if you hit a diamond block
It will give you a diamond block, not a diamond (item).
:Summoning blocks will not work on some blocks, such as Bedrock, End Portal, End Portal Frame and so on...
Time:
If its night time, it will be turned day, and the other way around.
Meth:
When a mob is hit by the spell, every aspect of it will be speeded up.
:Note:
:The effect will stop, when the world is re-loaded.
Gravity:
Makes the block hit by the spell act a bit like falling sand.
The block will keep its MetaData (birch wood will not become normal wood, and so on).
TileEntities will NOT be kept. This means, that chests will NOT keep their content. It will, however, be dropped inside chests.
Riding:
Mount, or if already mounted, dismount a mob.
Weather:
Changes the weather from on to off, depending on it being either on or off at the point of use
Resurrection:
Sets your spawn point to where you stand when you use the spell.
:Note:
:The spawn point might not be exactly where you placed it, and can sometimes be a bit buggy.
Light:
Lights up the sky.
If already used, the duration time will be increased on use.
Poison:
Poisons the hit enemy.
:Note:
Poison only brings entities down to 1 heart of life, but won't kill them.
Speed:
Speeds you up for some seconds.
Froggy:
Makes you jump higher, and take no fall damage.
:Note:
:Falldamage will start adding up, as soon as the effect runs out.
Diamond Detecter:
Detects if there is diamond ores beneth you, in a 5x5 wide area, with you in the middle
Oxygen:
Enables you to breath under water, for a limited amount of time.
Spores:
Makes you stronger, but the screen will swirl like when using a nether portal, but without the purple HUD.
:Note:
:This can potentially make you seasick.
Lactose:
Acts like drinking a Bucket of Milk - Removes all buffs from you.
Heat:
Heats some blocks to another state, for example, if the spell hits an iron ore, it will drop an iron ingot.
:Note:
:As it sometimes turns into items, it will end up falling if possible.
:Not only smeltable blocks will be affected by this.
:For example, Obsidian will turn into lava.
Tree Felling:
Breaks all wood blocks above and below the one hit by the spell, and teleports the tree blocks to above your head
:Note:
:The block type dropped on your head is, at the moment, always normal wood, no matter the tree type you hit with the spell.
Satiety:
Damages you by 1 heart, and restores 1 hunger.
:Note:
:This does not work if you have less than 2 hearts of life, and it won't restore you to more than max.
Fire Protection:
Protects you from fire & lave for a periode of time. If already in use, the time will be increased.
Detonation:
When used on TNT, it turns it into magic tnt.
When used on a redstone torch (on), it will detonate all the magic tnt, all at once.
Gambling:
Turns "gamblable" blocks into something new. It can be worse, it can be better.

Fire:

- Summons a "wall" magic (Derpy) squids to block the way of hostile mobs. The squids will
disappear after a few seconds.
Taming:
- Tames wolves and ocelots.
Floating:
- Enables you to float on water.
Brewing:
- Throws out a random splash potion
Collecting:
- Collects all dropped items/blocks in a radius of 5 blocks.
Magical Shears:
- Shears the hit sheep, and up to 3 nearby sheeps.
Commandments:
- Right-click on a sign to perform commands, asigned on the sign.
Known commands:
- Day - Daytime
- Night - Nighttime
- sun - No rain/snow
- rain - Rain/snow
- Each command will require one Exp Orb.
Fire Extinguisher:
- Pust out any fires in a 10x10x10 area, with the player in the middle.
Quotes:
- Tells you a random quote.
Levitation:
- Makes some blocks temporarily fly into the air.
Fish:
- If the spell hits water, it has a 25% chance of dropping a raw fish.
Rushing:
- Rushes you forward.
Restoration:
- Heals you 1 health (½ heart).
Invulnerability:
- Makes you invulnerabile for 1 second.
Music:
- Plays a random record, despite "11".
Magic Carpet:
- Makes a magical carpet of glass for you to walk on.
It will follow you around, and soften your fall.
Cold:
- Freezes the hit mob.
Mining:
- When used on an ore, it will mine up every ore of the same type in a 3x3x3 area around the clicked ore.
Mob Info:
- Shows you some info about the hit mob.
Combat:
- Turns into a magical sword, which costs 1 XP Orb per hit. Does not degrade.
Power Outlet:
- Strikes down 5 lightning bolts, where the spell hits.

Description:
Zeus:
- Summons a lightning in a 3x3 area where the spell hits, with the spell being the center.
Nitroglycerin:
Makes a big explosion.
Arrow Shower:
- Just like Archery, but with a few differences:
- The arrows burn
- The arrows crit
- The arrows are faster
Suffering:
- Hurts a mob for 8 damage (4 hearts).
Boyancy:
- Enables you to float on water and lava.
Teleportation:
- Teleports you to the spell, without hurting you.
Ghast Breath:
- Creates a ghast-fireball-explosion, where the spell hits.
Demolition:
- Just like Detonation, but with a bigger radius.
Damage Waves:
- Damages any mob in a 20 block radius of the player by 2 hearts.
Also informs the player how many mobs were hit.
- Only works on monsters, not animals.
Feather Falling:
- Makes you fall slowly for a amount of time.
Thor:
- Summons a lightning in a 5v5 area where the spell hits, with the spell being the center.
Safe Flames:
- Entities hit by the spell will be set on fire.
Expl. Drilling:
- Blows up blocks, but doesn't hurt entities.
- Breaks 70% of blocks blown up.
Expl. Excavation:
- Blows up blocks, but doesn't hurt entities.
- Breaks 40% of blocks blown up.
Expl. Mining:
- Blows up blocks, but doesn't hurt entities.
- Breaks 10% of blocks blown up.
Gathering:
- Collects all dropped items/blocks in a radius of 10 blocks.
Crystal Shield:
- Creates a sphere of unbreakable glass around you.
The glass will after a few seconds start to disappear.
The staffs cooldown time can be seen in the item description.
Regeneration:
- Takes you back to your spawn point.
Rarety:
- Gives a 1/15 chance of the hit monster to drop its rare drop, if it has one.
Damages the mobs the same amount as the Staff of Suffering.
Lava Detection:
- Checks if there's lava near you.
Outburst:
- "Kicks" a mob hard in the direction of the spell it is hit with.
Shockwave
- Pushes back any mobs in an area of where the spell hits.
Flash:
- Rushes you fast forward.
Healing:
- Heals you 2 health (1 heart).
Cluster Bombing:

- Rains down some small fireballs.

Immortallity:
- Makes you Immortal for 2 seconds.
Charge:
- Charges or discharges the hit creeper.
Flame Throwing:
- Spews out flames, burning blocks and creatures.
Gamma Ray Burst:

Thunder Roar:

Description:

- Stuns the hit mob, and poisons it.
Cold Flames:
- Stuns the hit mob, and periodicly burns it.
Thundery Archery:
- Creates arrows from the spell. When the arrows hit the ground, they create a lightning bolt.

The Freaker:
Freakers are found on randomly generated stone brick towers, throughout the world. The towers also spawn 4 Bad Wizards to protect it.
The Fight:
To start fighting the freaker, simply go up to the top of the tower, and you will see a statue in the middle of the towers top.
Right-click the statue, and you will awaken it, and it will become a Freaker. The Freaker has 100 health, and will jump around.
If he jumps onto you, you will:
- Be stomped into the air
- 5 seconds of slowed down movement
- 1 second of blindness
- 10 seconds of Nausea
- The screen will swirl, like when entering a Nether Portal.
After killing a Boss, it will drop a load of XP Orbs, some Magic Essence, and possibly some special loot, only obtainable from bosses.
- Enchanted Salmon:
- When used to break blocks, that are breakable by hand, the block will break much faster than normal.
- It does not degrade, or break.
- Beacon Orb:
- Will fly 30 blocks into the air, and turn into a block of glowstone.
- This is meant as a way of figuring out where you've already been.
- Doom Dust:
- When cast, it will form a ball, of pure darkness, killing the mob it hits.
- Does not affect dragons or other bosses, such as the Freaker.
- The hit mob will have no drops. It is meant as a way of "escaping certain death".

Good Wizards:
Good wizards can sometimes be found all around the world. They will ask you for a (set) of item(s), which you will have to give them.
If you bring it the items, they will reward you with some items, and perhaps some rare Magic Essence, which can be used for advanced
magic (not Advanced Staves).
On death, they will drop between 5 and 15 XP Orbs.
Bad Wizards:
Bad wizards can sometimes be found at night, or in dark places. They are aggressive, and will fight you,
if they see you (see Combat, below).
On death, they will drop between 5 and 15 XP Orbs, and perhaps magical armor, or even a staff.
Also, they'll always drop 1 Magic Essence, which can be used for advanced magic (not Advanced Staves).
Iron Golems and Snow Golems are hostile against bad wizards.
Combat:
Wizards, in combat will:
- Use Repulson if the enemy is close.
- Use Pain if the enemy is further away.
If a good and a a bad wizard meet, they will try to kill eachother.

Magic Dragons come from magic dragon eggs, which can be made in a crafting table, like this:

The Magic Dragon is a friendly mob, which you can mount, and fly around. It is very fast, so it might not
be a good idea to travel into newly generated chunks with it, since this might create lag.
It has 50 health (25 hearts), which are displayed in the top of the screen, when you ride it.
When it dies, it will drop a Magic Dragon Egg.

Magical Robes is a set of magical armor.
Each equipped piece grants a chance of not using an Experience Orb, when you cast a spell.
Also, if the whole set is equipped, there will be granted an extra set-bonus.
The armor is crafted out of Magical Cloth [ Other ].
It is made in the same pattern as the normal armor sets.

- Book of Extraction
The Book of Extraction is used to convert your XP & Level(s) into Experience Orbs, which is what is required to cast spells.
You can also right-click a stack of Experience Orbs, and whey will turn into xp. However, some XP will be lost doing this.
The Book of Extraction is crafted by crafting a piece of redstone dust and a book together.
To extract experience, you will need to be at least level 1.
- Experience Orbs
Experience Orbs are used mainly for casting spells, but it is also a requirement for other kinds of magical, as well as
a way of storing experience & levels as items. However, they're not 100% efficient at storing experience & levels.
- Gem of Companionship

The Gem of Companionship is used to summon you a magical companion, in exchange of 64 Experience Orbs.

Will sail like a normal boat, but does not break when crashing into blocks at high speeds.

Crafting:
Glass Orb & Magic Essence (from Wizards).
Boomerang Orbs can be thrown into the air, where they will fly out to a certain point, and return to where they were thrown,
and thereafter drop as an item, so you can pick it up again.
If they hit a mob, they will damage the mob, but the boomerang orb won't break.
If they hit the player, they will drop as an item, and you can instantly pick it up (Basically, if you touch it, you will get
back into your inventory).

Magical Pouches can store XP Orbs. Each pouch has space for over 2 billion XP Orbs.
The XP Orbs can't be accessed by staves, and such, from the pouch, but you can quickly deposit/withdraw
the XP Orbs when needed, so they don't fill up your inventory.

To get started with using Magiz, you need to get a few things first.
You will need some (or rather a bunch) of redstone dust, 2 sticks, and 8 key items and a diamond.
Key items are used in crafting recipies, to decide what you want to charge your staff to become.
To charge a staff, 7 Key Items are required.

Description:
Creativity:
When used, it opens a GUI that will enable you to do a lot of stuff, like:
- Get ANY of the staffs
- Change your gamemode
- Turn spell cost on/off
- Make spells fly MUCH faster
- Creative only staffs
- And more!
Repulsion:
"Kicks" a mob in the direction of the spell it is hit with.
Higher steps:
Makes you (for a time) able to step over 2 blocks.
If used while already using it, the time will be increased.
Pain:
Hurts the target mob.
Explosion:
Makes an explosion.
Arrow Shower:
Makes arrows rain at the point / mob, the spell hits.
Thunder:
Summons a lightning where the spell hits.
Location:
Acts like an Ender Eye, but without gravity.
Draining:
If the player has lost health, it damages the enemy by 1, and heals you by 1.
Lightness:
When activated, you will fall safely to the ground, taking no fall damage, and falling at a slow speed.
:Note:
:This spell does not summon a spell entity, but works instantly.
Summoning:
If a block is hit by the spell, it will be destroyed, and dropped at your position to pickup.
If a mob is hit by the spell, it will be teleported to your position.
:Note:
:The block that will be dropped at your position is the same as the block you gather, meaning that if you hit a diamond block
It will give you a diamond block, not a diamond (item).
:Summoning blocks will not work on some blocks, such as Bedrock, End Portal, End Portal Frame and so on...
Time:
If its night time, it will be turned day, and the other way around.
Meth:
When a mob is hit by the spell, every aspect of it will be speeded up.
:Note:
:The effect will stop, when the world is re-loaded.
Gravity:
Makes the block hit by the spell act a bit like falling sand.
The block will keep its MetaData (birch wood will not become normal wood, and so on).
TileEntities will NOT be kept. This means, that chests will NOT keep their content. It will, however, be dropped inside chests.
Riding:
Mount, or if already mounted, dismount a mob.
Weather:
Changes the weather from on to off, depending on it being either on or off at the point of use
Resurrection:
Sets your spawn point to where you stand when you use the spell.
:Note:
:The spawn point might not be exactly where you placed it, and can sometimes be a bit buggy.
Light:
Lights up the sky.
If already used, the duration time will be increased on use.
Poison:
Poisons the hit enemy.
:Note:
Poison only brings entities down to 1 heart of life, but won't kill them.
Speed:
Speeds you up for some seconds.
Froggy:
Makes you jump higher, and take no fall damage.
:Note:
:Falldamage will start adding up, as soon as the effect runs out.
Diamond Detecter:
Detects if there is diamond ores beneth you, in a 5x5 wide area, with you in the middle
Oxygen:
Enables you to breath under water, for a limited amount of time.
Spores:
Makes you stronger, but the screen will swirl like when using a nether portal, but without the purple HUD.
:Note:
:This can potentially make you seasick.
Lactose:
Acts like drinking a Bucket of Milk - Removes all buffs from you.
Heat:
Heats some blocks to another state, for example, if the spell hits an iron ore, it will drop an iron ingot.
:Note:
:As it sometimes turns into items, it will end up falling if possible.
:Not only smeltable blocks will be affected by this.
:For example, Obsidian will turn into lava.
Tree Felling:
Breaks all wood blocks above and below the one hit by the spell, and teleports the tree blocks to above your head
:Note:
:The block type dropped on your head is, at the moment, always normal wood, no matter the tree type you hit with the spell.
Satiety:
Damages you by 1 heart, and restores 1 hunger.
:Note:
:This does not work if you have less than 2 hearts of life, and it won't restore you to more than max.
Fire Protection:
Protects you from fire & lave for a periode of time. If already in use, the time will be increased.
Detonation:
When used on TNT, it turns it into magic tnt.
When used on a redstone torch (on), it will detonate all the magic tnt, all at once.
Gambling:
Turns "gamblable" blocks into something new. It can be worse, it can be better.

- Summons a "wall" magic (Derpy) squids to block the way of hostile mobs. The squids will
disappear after a few seconds.
Taming:
- Tames wolves and ocelots.
Floating:
- Enables you to float on water.
Brewing:
- Throws out a random splash potion
Collecting:
- Collects all dropped items/blocks in a radius of 5 blocks.
Magical Shears:
- Shears the hit sheep, and up to 3 nearby sheeps.
Commandments:
- Right-click on a sign to perform commands, asigned on the sign.
Known commands:

- Each command will require one Exp Orb.
Fire Extinguisher:
- Pust out any fires in a 10x10x10 area, with the player in the middle.

- If the spell hits water, it has a 25% chance of dropping a raw fish.
Rushing:
- Rushes you forward.
Restoration:

- Plays a random record, despite "11".
Magic Carpet:
- Makes a magical carpet of glass for you to walk on.
It will follow you around, and soften your fall.
Cold:
- Freezes the hit mob.
Mining:
- When used on an ore, it will mine up every ore of the same type in a 3x3x3 area around the clicked ore.
Mob Info:
- Shows you some info about the hit mob.
Combat:
- Turns into a magical sword, which costs 1 XP Orb per hit. Does not degrade.
Power Outlet:
- Strikes down 5 lightning bolts, where the spell hits.

Zeus:

Nitroglycerin:
Makes a big explosion.

Suffering:

Boyancy:

- Just like Detonation, but with a bigger radius.

Also informs the player how many mobs were hit.
- Only works on monsters, not animals.
Feather Falling:
- Makes you fall slowly for a amount of time.
Thor:
- Summons a lightning in a 5v5 area where the spell hits, with the spell being the center.
Safe Flames:
- Entities hit by the spell will be set on fire.
Expl. Drilling:
- Blows up blocks, but doesn't hurt entities.
- Breaks 70% of blocks blown up.
Expl. Excavation:
- Blows up blocks, but doesn't hurt entities.
- Breaks 40% of blocks blown up.
Expl. Mining:
- Blows up blocks, but doesn't hurt entities.
- Breaks 10% of blocks blown up.
Gathering:
- Collects all dropped items/blocks in a radius of 10 blocks.
Crystal Shield:
- Creates a sphere of unbreakable glass around you.

Regeneration:
- Takes you back to your spawn point.
Rarety:
- Gives a 1/15 chance of the hit monster to drop its rare drop, if it has one.
Damages the mobs the same amount as the Staff of Suffering.
Lava Detection:
- Checks if there's lava near you.
Outburst:
- "Kicks" a mob hard in the direction of the spell it is hit with.
Shockwave
- Pushes back any mobs in an area of where the spell hits.
Flash:
- Rushes you fast forward.
Healing:
- Heals you 2 health (1 heart).
Cluster Bombing:

Firestorm:
- Rains down some small fireballs.

Freezing:
- Freezes a mob for double the time the "Staff of Cold" does.
Zombie:
- Spawns a magical zombie to help you in combat. It will die after some time.
Skeleton:
- Spawns a magical skeleton to help you in combat. It will die after some time.
Immortallity:
- Makes you Immortal for 2 seconds.
Charge:
- Charges or discharges the hit creeper.
Flame Throwing:
- Spews out flames, burning blocks and creatures.
Gamma Ray Burst:
- Strikes down a lot of lightning bolts and creates an big explosion with fire where, the spell hits.
Thunder Roar:
- Strikes down 25 lightning bolts, where the spell hits.
Electrical Storm:

Cold Poison:
- Stuns the hit mob, and poisons it.
Cold Flames:
- Stuns the hit mob, and periodicly burns it.
Thundery Archery:
- Creates arrows from the spell. When the arrows hit the ground, they create a lightning bolt.

The Freaker:
Freakers are found on randomly generated stone brick towers, throughout the world. The towers also spawn 4 Bad Wizards to protect it.
The Fight:
To start fighting the freaker, simply go up to the top of the tower, and you will see a statue in the middle of the towers top.
Right-click the statue, and you will awaken it, and it will become a Freaker. The Freaker has 100 health, and will jump around.
If he jumps onto you, you will:
- Be stomped into the air
- 5 seconds of slowed down movement
- 1 second of blindness
- 10 seconds of Nausea
- The screen will swirl, like when entering a Nether Portal.
After killing a Boss, it will drop a load of XP Orbs, some Magic Essence, and possibly some special loot, only obtainable from bosses.
- Enchanted Salmon:
- When used to break blocks, that are breakable by hand, the block will break much faster than normal.
- It does not degrade, or break.
- Beacon Orb:
- Will fly 30 blocks into the air, and turn into a block of glowstone.
- This is meant as a way of figuring out where you've already been.
- Doom Dust:
- When cast, it will form a ball, of pure darkness, killing the mob it hits.
- Does not affect dragons or other bosses, such as the Freaker.
- The hit mob will have no drops. It is meant as a way of "escaping certain death".

Good Wizards:
Good wizards can sometimes be found all around the world. They will ask you for a (set) of item(s), which you will have to give them.
If you bring it the items, they will reward you with some items, and perhaps some rare Magic Essence, which can be used for advanced
magic (not Advanced Staves).
On death, they will drop between 5 and 15 XP Orbs.
Bad Wizards:
Bad wizards can sometimes be found at night, or in dark places. They are aggressive, and will fight you,
if they see you (see Combat, below).
On death, they will drop between 5 and 15 XP Orbs, and perhaps magical armor, or even a staff.
Also, they'll always drop 1 Magic Essence, which can be used for advanced magic (not Advanced Staves).
Iron Golems and Snow Golems are hostile against bad wizards.
Combat:
Wizards, in combat will:
- Use Repulson if the enemy is close.
- Use Pain if the enemy is further away.
If a good and a a bad wizard meet, they will try to kill eachother.

Magic Dragons come from magic dragon eggs, which can be made in a crafting table, like this:

The Magic Dragon is a friendly mob, which you can mount, and fly around. It is very fast, so it might not
be a good idea to travel into newly generated chunks with it, since this might create lag.
It has 50 health (25 hearts), which are displayed in the top of the screen, when you ride it.
When it dies, it will drop a Magic Dragon Egg.

- Book of Extraction
The Book of Extraction is used to convert your XP & Level(s) into Experience Orbs, which is what is required to cast spells.
You can also right-click a stack of Experience Orbs, and whey will turn into xp. However, some XP will be lost doing this.
The Book of Extraction is crafted by crafting a piece of redstone dust and a book together.
To extract experience, you will need to be at least level 1.
- Experience Orbs
Experience Orbs are used mainly for casting spells, but it is also a requirement for other kinds of magical, as well as
a way of storing experience & levels as items. However, they're not 100% efficient at storing experience & levels.
- Gem of Companionship

The Gem of Companionship is used to summon you a magical companion, in exchange of 64 Experience Orbs.

Boomerang Orbs can be thrown into the air, where they will fly out to a certain point, and return to where they were thrown,
and thereafter drop as an item, so you can pick it up again.
If they hit a mob, they will damage the mob, but the boomerang orb won't break.
If they hit the player, they will drop as an item, and you can instantly pick it up (Basically, if you touch it, you will get
back into your inventory).

Magical Pouches can store XP Orbs. Each pouch has space for over 2 billion XP Orbs.
The XP Orbs can't be accessed by staves, and such, from the pouch, but you can quickly deposit/withdraw
the XP Orbs when needed, so they don't fill up your inventory.

***Before installing***
- In case anything were to happend, BACKUP YOUR SAVES FOLDER.
- You need to have installed ModLoader.
- It can be downloaded from the link in this folder, called "ModLoader Link"
***When ModLoader is installed***
1. Open up your .minecraft folder
2. Go into "bin"
3. Open the "minecraft.jar" with a program like 7-zip or WinRar
4. Delete the "META-INF" folder inside the "minecraft.jar"
5. Open the "content" folder in THIS folder
6. Drag ALL the files and folders inside the "content" folder into the "minecraft.jar"
7. Start MineCraft, and the mod should be installed

- If you get any errors when starting up Minecraft, open the "Troubleshooting" file in this folder.

- Places a portal, which can teleport entities which touches it to a set location
- Shiftes color randomly. Color of the ball will be the same as the portal placed
- Portal color can be changed when the portal is placed

- When consumed, it will temporarily grant you the ability to control the path of spells
- The spell will go in whatever location you look in
- Sneaking will reverse the spells motion

- Weak, cheaper and easier to get versions of Staves
- Has a chance of randomly breaking
- Wand recipes (despite the Uncharged Wand) are shapeless, meaning that they don't have any specific pattern.

He will then become aggressive.

- Companion Improvements
- Leveling system
* Level is addjustable in creative mode, via the Gem of Companionship GUI
- The Companion will gain XP for casting spells.
- This will most likely be changed in the future.
- Some levels will change the ring surrounding the companion.
- Each level will add 1 health to the companions max health.
- Abilities:
- Level 3: Portable Workbench
- Accessed by right-clicking the companion.
- Level 7: Healing
- If the companion is close enough to you, you will randomlybe healed.
- Toggelabe via the Gem of Companionships GUI, under Settings
- Sound and speach is now, per default, turned off. (Sorry for making it so annoying from the beginning
- Dragon Trims
- By using certain items on the dragon, you can now trim it. This is currently purely cosmetic
- Trims:

* Lapis Block

* End Stone
* Pumpkin
* Red Mushroom (has 10% chance of getting a Mycelium trim instead)
* Jack O' Lantern (the trim will cover the entire face, and its eyes will glow in the night

- Note: More trims are already existing in the files, but just not used in the mod itself, yet.
- Improved dragon animation
- New swim and float animation
- The dragon no longer "jumps up and down" when standing still
- The dragon now raises its neck if in water, or standing still on ground
- The wings now fold up in a new way, which takes up less of your view (F5 mode)
