Version: 3.0.0 Pre-release 1

DOWNLOAD

You need ModLoader to use this mod.

*** Magiz is being rewritten for 1.5.1, to work with the Forge API. ***

Both ModLoader and Magiz MUST be for the same version as your MineCraft to work. Yes, you can get ModLoader for 1.2.5.

I am working on updating Magiz for the current version of minecraft, but there are problems.
STOP ASKING FOR UPDATES!!!

Important:
If you want this mod to continue getting new spells, please suggest some! Just post an idea on this thread, telling about a spell you would like me to add. If I add a spell based on a suggestion, I will add that persons name to the Credits.

Introduction:
This mod introduces the power of magic to Minecraft. Via magical staves, this mod adds a bunch of magic spells, useful for both combat, but also general stuff, aswell as less general stuff.
If you have any suggestions for spells, I would love to hear them! If I decide to add your idea into the mod, you will be in the credits.
Also, I try to make this mod as compatible with other mods as possible, which is why I try to use the same ID's for several items, by using damage in the same way as dyes and wool does. This, however, means that some staffs & items may not be found in the Creative Menu. However, you can get all of them from the Staff of Creativity. Posted Image

This is a great mod. Little overpowered in some cases- maybe add staff durability? Banner doesn't work either :(

Thanks, will try to fix it all Posted Image
And staff durability sadly won't be possible, as I already use damage values to decide the staffs power (like dyes). But I'll try to make them less OP Posted Image

To be honest, I don't know about that. ;P
I don't have Skyrim myself (idk why...), so I haven't really looked out for such mods.

Edit:

The signature picture works fine for me. Have you copied the entire thing?

Great to see you made it Posted Image

I will continue to support you as you update this mod. Feel free to ask me for any ideas or support (advertising, using the banner, etc.)

EDIT: I can't get the game to work once I've installed the mod. Just a black screen :(

You know what? This mod sounds interesting. Kinda like the magic mod idea I had, Magicraft. Plus, it isn't like most magic mods I see where it adds a bunch of things that aren't even magic spell oriented like new element-based ores for creating different armor sets that do nothing but look like all the colors of the rainbow.

I'm gonna try this!

Have you done everything the installation guide tells you to do?
- Install ModLoader
- Delete Meta-Inf
- Insert all Magiz files, and the folder with the textures

Try those two options.

1: Do you use any other mods? If so, try deleting the bin folder, and only install ModLoader and this mod.
2. Try deleting/emptying your mods folder, inside your .minecraft folder.
