I really like to pelt creepers with arrows so they won't explode on me, but I hate having to find flint to make the arrows. The only way now to obtain flint is having a chance to get it when gravel breaks, and for me that chance is 1/10.
If I could just craft the stuff like wood, that would be great.

You can make a "Flint factory" going to a wall, putting a Torch in the ground, and spamming your Gravel blocks so that they break when they fall on the Torch. Eventually, they all will be turned into Flint. That's how I do it.

Not everyone knows how to make a trap, and not everyone has the resources for it. And not everyone has a skeleton dungeon readily available.

Except when gravel lands onto torches it always gives gravel blocks.

No, no it hasn't. Not everyone likes 120491908513 additions. And yes, that mod was great. Until I found out that instead of punching trees, you now have to endlessly punch leaves in the hopes of getting some saplings, because punching trees now no longer gives wood.

Look at your minecraft. Now look at mine.
Now look at your minecraft. Now back to mine.
Sadly, it isn't mine.
But if you stoped playing your vanilla minecraft and started using mods it could LOOK like mine.
Now look down, back up.
We're in your new minecraft with mods.
Look in my hand. What am I holding? It's 3 gravel.
Now look away. Now look back. THE GRAVEL IS NOW FLINT!
Anything is possible when you play minecraft. I'm on a (modded) horse.
