ok so as everyone knows 1.2.3 is out and every time i go to login to technic laucher it just login in and is 1.1. why isnt it updating? ohh and im using the tekkit in the mod select. and also now i go into to login in and it says failed to update and it does that everytime and im really getting pissed off. so what should i do?

I am not sure about the tekkit problem, but the reason normal minecraft is 1.2.3 but technic will not update is because mod creators have to update their mods to work with the new updates, for some mods, this takes a while. The technic pack does not update until these mods in it update. So this updating the mods is the same thing to Jeb and Notch updating Minecraft, except that the mods have a delay. Eventually, Technic will update to 1.2, but for now you will have to keep technic 1.1, and use normal minecraft for 1.2.3.

redownload the launcher, and the reaso nwhy it is not updating is becaue technic launcher automatically backdates for you

Why did you just copy what the other guy said, is that your contribution, cos admin will ban u if u keep doing that
