As long as your not in Fullscreen mode (F11), you should be fine. I loooooovee fullscreen mode tho lol.
Anyways like you said hopefully it gets fixed in vanilla minecraft, well just have to wait and see.

Btw, is this just a bug or do most people not not play in fullscreen mode because seeing as there is only one page on this thread, it doesnt seem to affect many people.

Edit: Well i feel dumb. I just realized if you maximize the screen (not F11) and then you go into fullscreen mode your mouse cursor should be centered.

they were supposed to fix that bug in 1.4.6, as the bug fix list says, although its not fixed for me, but its not that big of a problem anymore

Never heard of this bug I can't even get fullscreen to work, when I turn it on my game shuts off and I have to go into the game files to change it.

im playing in the latest snapshot 13w18c and the problem with the mouse positioning has been fixed, so this isnt necessary anymore
