Me and my friend want to setup a tekkit server with tekkit 2.0. Can someone point me in a good tutorial on how to do this.(I already have a vanilla server running).

All you do is you download Tekkit_Server_2.0.zip then you extract it into a folder, and run launch.bat. Once you have done that, the server console should appear and wait for i to say "Done". Then type in the console "stop" and it will shutdown. Then you open server_properties and configure it the way you like it and put in your ip and the port. Then run launch.bat again and there you go, your server is running.

yes when will it be up im a very good builder and i dont like being really low and not noticed i think i will make a very good builder and im also good with plugins and i have had experince being admin or builder

What is Tekkit?
Tekkit is a collection of the best mods in Minecraft, all combined and working together under one install with no setup required of the player. The result is Minecraft is much deeper, the end game is much further out and the sheer amount of things to do is increased. The best part is the core Minecraft game is still the same. Server Plugins

• LWC - Lock your chests, doors and furnaces against those pesky thieves.
  
• Essentials - Set your home and warp to spawn
  
• Log Block  - Logs all blocks which players break and place, thus allowing us to identify, rollback and ban griefers.
  
• McBans - A global banning solution. Known griefers will not be able to join the server.
  
• ChopTree - Chop those trees down just like cactus. Hit the bottom log and the whole tree breaks!

Rules

Spoiler:

• No griefing allowed. All blocks are logged.
  
• No flymod or X-ray or any other type of hack. Players who use any hack will be permanently banned on sight.
  
• Stealing from and attacking other players is not permitted.
  
• Do not build 1x1 towers
  
• Do not spam or type in all CAPS.
  
• Do not intrude or build on another players claimed area without permission
  
• No offensive language or insulting other players
  
• No floating trees
  
• Any exploitation of glitches will be SEVERELY punished and may result in a ban.

This server is whitelisted. This means that you can only log into the server once you have made an application.
