This game, it's something amazing, something sovery amazing. It let's you so easily build and destory. It's so incredibly simple, yet so very complex. And the number of things you can make is amazing. But it hasn't even reached it's limit yet.

Minecraft, as great as it is, isn't nearly as wonderfull or amazing as it could be. Yeah, you can place blocks, redstone, and pistons, but you could do so much more.

When I look at Minecraft, I think of many wonderfull ideas. Do you have any idea what it's like to have brilliant ideas pop in your head all the time? Ideas for improvements of all kinds, I'm constantly thinking of new ones.

Just think about it for a moment. Just for one moment, shut the idea of moding the hell out of Minecraft out of your mind, and think about what Minecraft would be like if some of the ideas on the suggestions board that were actualy good got added to the game.

Wow, you're so deep! It's like... you're thinking what everyone else has been thinking about every game that has ever existed. The problem is that 99% of the ideas people come up with are bad for gameplay or are extremely unrealistic. And then there's the style of a game. If Minecraft featured laptops and rayguns in vanilla, that would obviously break the game's style. Now, those were just examples, but there are a ton of suggestions that are just like them.

Also, if Mojang tried to add every cool suggestion ever made, they'd probably retire before they were done

It's true that there are alot of very bad ideas for Minecraft out there. And while there are good concepts, some people don't really try to make these concepts fit in with Minecraft's style.

Now, lets say you take glowstone a daimond, glass, and some cobblestone. You could probably make just a simple laser like the one in the laser mod with that. It doesn't use any modern technology to make the laser, just light and something to bend the light.
