Hey everybody,

I've never used a texture pack before, and I'm happy with the Minecraft default textures. But, there are a few things I'd like to change.

I was wondering if anyone knows how I can change out the Minecraft paintings, and maybe replace them with something more Minecraft themed, like pictures of monsters, animals, etc.

Also, I thought it would be cool to change the bed design to look like a creeper face, I've seen that in a video before.

Anyway, if anyone could point me in the right direction on how to change these, and things like it, that'd be awesome.

Thanks!

paintings:

bed:

\terrain.png

it's under the pumpkin, the two square right below pumpkin side and pumpkin face are the bed top, then the row of square under that is the bed's sides, and left of bed's sides is the foot of the bed, right of the bed's sides is the head of the bed :)

Cool, I found the files where I can edit the textures, thank you insomniac_lemon!

Now, anyone know where I can locate pre-made designs for a new bed and paintings, (etc.)? I'm no good at drawing, pixel or otherwise. =p

Well, I'm off to bed.

Any further advice would be greatly appreciated!

Painterly pack would be great for you, I think. there are multiple options for every texture in the game, and it has the creeper bed. here's a link: painterlypack.net

An,d If u dont want to keep original paintings, just replace that kz.png
I use many texturepacks, at the same time. Because I take parts I wnat and combine them. But Im not going to put it to share, and not making videos or pictures, because some parts are not allowed to use alone ^_^

As a side note, incase anyone was curious; I found Sphax's artwork is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. Awesome in-game Minecraft artwork. =)
