Well we used the Forge for 1.4.6 not 1.4.7 so that could possibly be whats wrong, although I've told Five about this and we will see what he has to say.

Your mod crashes with version 6.60 of Minecraft Forge, all the other mods work well.
BoneCraft is currently only updated for Minecraft 1.4.6 / Forge 6.5.0 and so I can't account for it not working on other versions.
I wasn't aware that the 1.4.7 prerelease was out (I don't really keep up with the latest minecraft news), but I'll see about updating it now.

Yes, I'm aware that MC 1.4.7 isn't officially out yet, but I had to update my Forge to latest version (damn you, Forestry 1.7!!). The odd thing is that every other mod for 1.46 runs without trouble in 1.4.7 except yours. Maybe you added a code so if Forge 6.5 is not present then it won't load, or just have bad luck that the little changes Mojang did with the update affected files you use?
Anyway, thanks for the fast reply! Good luck!

You're right. Thinking that the next minecraft version wouldn't be compatible, I made the mistake of adding a version check that would hopefully provide an easy way for me to diagnose issues when someone had the wrong version. As a result my 1.4.6 version doesn't work with 1.4.7.
Also it appears that the Item.shiftedIndex variable changed names in mcp/forge, which would have caused problems when smelting and doing a few other things.
It's late here, so I'll be sure to have the 1.4.7 version up sometime tomorrow.

BoneCraft 1.4.7-1.0 download link: bit.ly/1341HOo

Changelog:
Updated to Minecraft 1.4.7 / Forge 6.6.0
Removed the version checker that I feel like a moron for adding in the first place.

Spoiler:
What other mods are you running?
EDIT: Nevermind, I can see them in the crash report. I'm guessing that one of those edits xd.class just like BoneCraft. It's just going to conflict for now and there's nothing I can do about it until the next update. xd.class (EnumEnchantmentType.java) is the only base file that BoneCraft currently edits and I plan on fixing that in the next update.

EDIT: Sorry, the mod works just fine, I derped bad and simply dropped the mod into the mods folder as all the others, but since it edits a base class it MUST go into the jar. It run just fine, even with the bunch of mods I already had. Thank you for your reply and sorry for wasting your time.

Your mod seems pretty good, well done! Posted Image

BTW, add a link to your new Wiki to the OP, I googled it and the first results were a bit disturbing...

somehow, I don't think that wiki is related to this. Just maybe.
Edit: now googling it myself, because of course I'm a massive perv.

...omg that looks terrible.

Hey everyone sorry about being gone yesterday, the Main Post for BoneCraft has been updated with all the new information/download links, and a link to our wiki! But remember some parts of our wiki are still under construction.

Thanks. Could you please explain in the wiki the Bone Anvil's repair feature? Couldn't find anything about it...

Oh and bug report: the iron mattock never lose durability, not sure about the diamond one.

Another update: http://bit.ly/X9VqMP
This one is 1.4.7-1.0.1
The only noticeable difference will be that the tools now take damage from destroying blocks. Other than that I've just been cleaning up my code some.

I just posted an explanation of the repair system on the wiki. http://bonecraftmod....Anvil#Repairing
I get the feeling that I didn't explain it incredibly well though, so please tell me if you have any questions after reading that.

Thanks a lot, that's what I wanted to know, the explanation is pretty clear, btw. So the repair recipes become more expensive the more advanced the item in question is, pretty neat, keeps it balanced. I have a question about the aruvals, what's the difference between the bone handle and the golden one (a block of gold, that's for sure) but does it give better enchant rate, more durability, more damage?
I'm gathering enough diamonds to do an obsidian blade (spent all my stock crafting the anvil, hehe), but I'm not sure what handle use, the bone one will be cheaper to repair...
Thank you!

It gives better enchantability so yeah a better enchant rate.
