This is what happens when you sign on with microsoft. I garentee the contract with microsoft forbids minecraft on any other console/portable device. Since minecraft came to Android/iOS first, not much could be done there. I would happily buy minecraft again to have it on my PS Vita. Congratulations Mojang. Hope that microsoft money was worh it. By the way, I used my Vita to post this.

don't care in the slightest, ps3 owner no xbox. but a console version of minecraft doesn't remotely appeal to me, i wouldn't be able to use mods or texture packs on the console. i'll take mods and texture pack customization over a console disk any day.

i would get sick of seeing the same textures over and over. my pc version is as unique as i am as i have put my mark on my world, and it will never be the same as any other.

and i wouln't even bother starting from scratch as many maps as i have lost over the years, mods are a must.

i also have no plan to get the vita, all i needed to see is that it is booko expensive like the ps3 when it came out, i didn't get one till the first price cut i wasn't forking on 600$ for that thing. and 200$ was even a bit much for the psp 1000 which couldn't do much besides play games. the 3000 at least can be plugged in the tv and external speakers, more worth the price of 200$.

and i don't like the touch screen at all it's hard enough fighting with it on the ds already, buttons and touch screen is stupid in my eyes, it either should be like the ipod, all touch controls no buttons, or like the psp 3000 all buttons no touch screen.

oh hell no. the motion controls on that piss me off as it is the game i play matters little against the godawful controls.

if it didn't have super smash bros brawl it would take alot of stubbornness on my end to bother keeping it, and i only get games that have almost no motion control or can use the gamecube controller.

i will lose a bit of my faith in this company if see this awesome game on this crap system. and believe it or not i was a nintendo fan for many years till i first used the wii's controller. the love i had for that company died that day, i jumped on the bandwagon my bro had with the sony systems ever since.

Really?  You are insinuating that the PS Vita is approximately equal to the NDS?  And that no one that visits this site knows what the Vita is?  Just because you've apparently never heard of it doesn't mean the user base hasn't.  You didn't even get the latest Nintendo handheld correct.  I've never seen such an ignorant news blurb.  How about you get some gamers to write these articles instead of IT people.

Hmm...  Minecraft on the PSVita would actually run quite well, that device is pretty powerful.  It's a pity they aren't adding it.
