Are you tired of the simple ores Minecraft has to offer? Diggy, diggy hole, just isn't what it used to be in Alpha? Well now, when you install CrazyOres, you get the full experience!
CrazyOres is a mod that will add 9 unique ores to Minecraft. The ores are Copper, Meteorite, Sapphire, Ruby, Zectium, Crystal, Fool's Ruby, Starconium, and Demonite.

Copper, Meteorite, Sapphire, Ruby, Zectium, Crystal, Fool's Ruby, Starconium, and Demonite can now be found throughout your Minecraft world just like any other ore! The picture above shows all of the ores. It also shows the blocks for each type of ore above the ore itself. They can be crafted with 9 of each ore's primary gem/shard/ingot. A Meteorite block that lights up can be made too, with one Glowstone Dust in the center instead of the normal Meteorite Block recipe.

Some of the ores drop the block itself, which needs to be smelted in order to create it's Ingot/Gem form. These include Copper, Zectium, and Starconium. Others just drop Gems, Shards, and other items like Sapphire, Ruby, Crystal, Fool's Ruby, Meteorite, and Demonite. The item in the bottom right corner is Fool's Ruby Mush, made when two regular Fool's Ruby Blocks are placed in the Demonite Furnace.

METEORITE:
Describing the Ore:
Meteorite is a colorful red ore that stands out because of it’s discoloration compared to Stone. It may be easy to spot in caves for most people since it glows in the dark.
What it Drops:
If you find Meteorite, you need a Stone Pickaxe or higher to mine it, and the block will drop an item called Hyper Coal. Hyper coal can be used in a furnace to smelt 16 items at a time, or make 16 torches in a Crafting Table.
Special Recipes:
To make tools and armor, you must take Hyper Coal and put it in a Crafting Table with a lava bucket to get Meteorite Coal. Meteorite Coal can be used to smelt 32 items at a time, or make 32 torches in a Crafting Table. To make Meteorite Gems, simply take Meteorite Coal and put it in a Crafting Table with Obsidian. Meteorite Rods can be used to make Meteorite Bows. They shoot Meteorite Arrows which can set any mob on fire! Meteorite Arrows require one Hyper Coal, a Feather, and one Stick in a Crafting Table to be made. ::Note:: All Bows only shoot their own type of Arrow. Reinforced Glass and Reinforced Glass Panes can be used in any build and protects from TNT! See the "Crafting" section for more recipes.
Tools:
All tools are made from Meteorite Gems, and can set the ground on fire when right clicked besides Hoes. Meteorite Swords can also set mobs on fire when hit. Meteorite Bows shoot flaming Meteorite Arrows.
Armor:
Meteorite Armor is lava / fire proof! If you step in lava or get set on fire with a full set of Meteorite Armor on, you will receive half a heart of damage, but automatically be given Fire Resistance. Every 40 seconds you will receive another half heart of damage, as the Fire Resistance wears out, but it will comeback immediately. Durability does not wear out when in fire / lava. Since Meteorite is a weak Ore in general, it cannot protect you from anything else besides lava / fire.
Meteorite Armor has 5 armor points.
Blocks:
To make non - glowing Meteorite Blocks, place 9 Meteorite Gems in a Crafting Table. To make glowing Meteorite Blocks, place 1 Glowstone Dust in the center of a Crafting Table, and surround it with Meteorite Gems.
IMAGES:

A Meteorite Sword sets a Sheep on fire above.

A Meteorite Bow that just shot a Meteorite Arrow.
COPPER:
Describing the Ore:
Copper is a colorful orange ore that blends in with Stone. It is easy to find in caves because it spawns everywhere.
What it Drops:
If you find Copper, you need a Stone Pickaxe or higher to mine it, and it will drop the block itself. To get the Ingot, simply smelt the Copper ore in a furnace.
Special Recipes:
To make tools and armor, you must use Copper Ingots. Copper Rods can be used to make Copper Bows which are stronger than regular bows. They shoot Copper Arrows. ::Note:: All Bows only shoot their own type of Arrow. Copper Arrows require one Copper Ingot, a Feather, and one Stick in a Crafting Table to be made. Copper Glass and Copper Glass Panes can be used in any build to your liking! Copper Buckets and Bowls can be crafted. Copper Buckets can carry Water, Lava, and Milk. Milk Buckets can be used in crafting recipes for Cake and other foods just like regular Iron Buckets. Copper Bowls can be used to make Mushroom Soup like a regular Bowl can be used. When eaten, they heal one extra food icon than regular Mushroom Soup, since you are eating it in a cleaner bowl. Copper Golems can be made. See the "Mobs" section for details, and "Crafting" for the method of making them. Also, there are Smooth Copper Blocks and Copper Golem Head Blocks. See the "Crafting" section for recipes.
Tools:

What it Drops:
If you find Sapphire, you need a Copper Pickaxe or higher to mine it, and it will drop a Sapphire Gem.
Special Recipes:
To make tools and armor, you must use Sapphire Gems. Sapphire Rods can be used to make Sapphire Bows which are stronger than Copper bows. They shoot Sapphire Arrows. ::Note:: All Bows only shoot their own type of Arrow. Sapphire Arrows require one Sapphire Gem, a Feather, and one Stick in a Crafting Table to be made. COPPER GOLEM:
The Copper Golem is the third-weakest Golem (counting the Iron Golem), yet still can do a good amount of damage. He is orange, and requires 4 Smooth Copper Blocks along with 1 Copper Golem Head Block to be created. This in total, requires 79 Copper Ingots and 2 Redstone, not counting the cost of making the Demonite Furnace and resources required to activate the Demonite Furnace, mine the materials, and go to the Nether. Yet, it is definitely worth it to have a practically invincible Golem tearing apart every mob in your path. Unfortunately, Copper Golems know they don't stand a chance against Creepers, and ignore them.
Health: 45 Hearts
Maximum strength: 24 Heart Damage

The Sapphire Golem is the fourth-weakest Golem (counting the Iron Golem), yet still can do a pretty good amount of damage. She is blue, and requires 4 Smooth Sappphire Blocks along with 1 Sapphire Golem Head Block to be created. This in total, requires 79 Sapphire Gems and 2 Redstone, not counting the cost of making the Demonite Furnace and resources required to activate the Demonite Furnace, mine the materials, and go to the Nether. Yet, it is definitely worth it to have a practically invincible Golem tearing apart every mob in your path. Unfortunately, Sapphire Golems know they don't stand a chance against Creepers, and ignore them.
Health: 55 Hearts
Maximum strength: 30 Heart Damage

The Ruby Golem is the fourth-strongest Golem (counting the Iron Golem), yet is not the strongest. She is red, and requires 4 Smooth Ruby Blocks along with 1 Ruby Golem Head Block to be created. This in total, requires 79 Ruby Gems and 2 Redstone, not counting the cost of making the Demonite Furnace and resources required to activate the Demonite Furnace, mine the materials, and go to the Nether. Yet, it is definitely worth it to have a practically invincible Golem tearing apart every mob in your path. Unfortunately, Ruby Golems know they don't stand a chance against Creepers, and ignore them.
Health: 60 Hearts
Maximum strength: 40 Heart Damage

The Fool's Ruby Golem is the weakest Golem (counting the Iron Golem), possibly being weaker than a Snow Golem. It is red, very cracked, and requires 4 Fool's Ruby Blocks along with 1 Fool's Ruby Golem Head Block to be created. This in total, requires 43 Fool's Ruby Gems and 2 Redstone. Fool's Ruby Golems aren't that stable, and are very delicate. This means that you really should not hit them (yes, even your fist can do a good amount of damage to them). Even if a Fool's Ruby Golem won't help you very much in defending you, it definitely makes a pretty good pet.
Health: 4 Hearts
Maximum strength: 4 Heart Damage

The Zectium Golem is the third-strongest Golem (counting the Iron Golem), yet is not the strongest. He is green, and requires 4 Smooth Zectium Blocks along with 1 Zectium Golem Head Block to be created. This in total, requires 79 Zectium Ingots and 2 Redstone, not counting the cost of making the Demonite Furnace and resources required to activate the Demonite Furnace, mine the materials, and go to the Nether. Yet, it is definitely worth it to have a practically invincible Golem tearing apart every mob in your path. Unfortunately, Zectium Golems don't like explosions, and ignore Creepers.
Health: 65 Hearts
Maximum strength: 50 Heart Damage

The Crystal Golem is the second-strongest Golem (counting the Iron Golem), and can do some pretty heavy damage. He is white, and requires 4 Smooth Crystal Blocks along with 1 Crystal Golem Head Block to be created. This in total, requires 79 Crystal Shards and 2 Redstone, not counting the cost of making the Demonite Furnace and resources required to activate the Demonite Furnace, mine the materials, and go to the Nether. Yet, it is definitely worth it to have a basically invincible Golem tearing apart every mob in your path. Unfortunately, Crystal Golems don't like explosions, and ignore Creepers.
Health: 70 Hearts
Maximum strength: 60 Heart Damage

The Starconium Golem is the mightiest Golem (counting the Iron Golem), and does the same amount of damage as Chuck Norris. He or she is purple, and requires 4 Smooth Starconium Blocks along with 1 Starconium Golem Head Block to be created. This in total, requires 79 Starconium Gems and 2 Redstone, not counting the cost of making the Demonite Furnace and resources required to activate the Demonite Furnace, mine the materials, and go to the Nether. Yet, it is definitely worth it to have
Health: 75 Hearts
Maximum strength: 70 Heart Damage

The Demonite Golem is a pretty strong Golem, and enjoys the Nether. He is firey red, and requires 4 Smooth Demonite Blocks along with 1 Demonite Golem Head Block to be created. This in total, requires 79 Demonite Orbs and 2 Redstone, not counting the cost of making the Demonite Furnace and resources required to activate the Demonite Furnace, mine the materials, and go to the Nether. Yet, it is definitely worth it to have a Nether-born Golem tearing apart all Zombie Pigmen in your path. Demonite Golems are so used to the Nether that they are resistant to lava, and actually enjoy taking baths in it. Yet, they are afraid water, and avoid it. When exposed to water, they actually burn, and begin to take damage. This also happens when they are exposed to rain, yet they can tolerate snow. Demonite Golems are unfamiliar with Creepers, and therefore do not attack them.
Health: 65 Hearts
Maximum strength: 40 Heart Damage

CLIENT:
WINDOWS:
1. Open Start Menu. Type "%appdata%" in the search bar. (Without quotation marks)
2. Open ".minecraft". Open "bin". Using 7Zip or WinRAR, open "minecraft.jar".
3. In "minecraft.jar", delete "META-INF".
4. Download the RECOMMENDED version of Minecraft Forge Universal (MC 1.5.1) and drag the contents of the downloaded file into the "minecraft.jar".
5. Download the latest CrazyOres version from MediaFire. Extract the contents of "CrazyOres.zip" to any file.
6. Drag the .class files and folders into the "minecraft.jar".
7. Close all the files you opened, and play Minecraft! (NOTE: You may want to delete the file you extracted, if you have not already.)
MAC OS X:
Try this: (It worked for me)
1. Open Finder.
2. Go to "Library/Application Support".
3. Open "minecraft". Open "bin". Using Archive Utility or another archive opener, open "minecraft.jar".
4. In "minecraft.jar", delete "META-INF".
5. Download the RECOMMENDED version of Minecraft Forge Universal (MC 1.5.1) but DON'T drag the contents in yet.
6. Find the file named "Paulscode" in the forge file, and the "Paulscode " file in the "minecraft.jar".
7. In the file named "Paulscode" in the forge file, navigate to "sound/codecs/CodecIBXM.class"
8. Take the CodecIBXM.class and put that into the "codecs" file in "Paulscode" in the "minecraft.jar".
9. Now delete the "Paulscode" file from the forge file, and then copy everything else and put it in the "minecraft.jar".
10. Download the latest CrazyOres version from MediaFire. Unzip "CrazyOres.zip". Drag/copy the .class files and folders and into the "minecraft.jar".
7. Close all the files you opened, and play Minecraft!
Hopefully this works for you guys. I have a mac and this actually worked. The reason us mac users have to do it this way is because Windows actually merges the files together while Macs just replace them, this is what causes the crash when you try to click on any of the buttons in Minecraft. (Ex: Singleplayer, Multiplayer.)
Here is a simple video if you would rather watch than read.
SERVER:
Windows:
1. Create a folder wherever you would like for your server files. Open the folder.
2. Download the minecraft_server.jar (NOT Minecraft_Server.exe!) from here. Put the file in the folder you created.
3. Using 7Zip or WinRAR, open "minecraft_server.jar".
4. Download the RECOMMENDED version of Minecraft Forge Universal (MC 1.5.1) and drag the contents of the downloaded file into the "minecraft_server.jar".
5. Download the latest CrazyOres version from MediaFire. Extract the contents of "CrazyOres.zip" to any file.
6. Drag the .class files and folders into the "minecraft_server.jar".
7. Close the minecraft_server.jar. Make a new file in your server's folder to launch the server. This can be named whatever you want, but should have the ".bat" file extension.
8. Open the file in Notepad, and copy-paste the following code in:
java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar noguiSave the file and close it.
9. Double-click on your new file to launch the server. To set the server properties, you must open "server.properties". Note you must shut off the server before changing the properties.
10. Install CrazyOres and Minecraft Forge on your client (see instructions for client above) to connect to your server! Note that if you want friends to be able to connect, they must have CrazyOres installed too.
11. Enjoy!
CONFIG FILE (All users, Mac / Windows):
With a configuration file, you can change any block or item ID to whatever you would like, so you can play with other mods too. The configuration file can be found in "config". To get to this, go into ".minecraft"/"minecraft", and you should see it. Then, go into your "config" folder, and the config file's name is "CrazyOres.cfg". (NOTE: If you cannot find this file, you probably haven't launched Minecraft yet. Launch it with CrazyOres installed and then see if it is there.) To change the ID, simply find the block or item you want to change in the file and change the number after the = to the new ID. Block IDs must be lower than 4096 while item IDs must be below 32000 but higher than 4096. Do not insert commas (,) in the ID! Enjoy!

Version 7.2:
- Updated 1.5.1!
- The internal code has been completely changed due to the massive update of 1.5.1
- Updated to 1.4.7!
- Bug Fixes and other internal code issues

- Updated to 1.4.6!
- The Demonite Furnace has been revamped, now being able to smelt different items / blocks together to get over 100 cool new combinations! Click here for more information on it and on how to make them.
- The Demonite Furnace now requires 8 Refined Demonite Blocks surrounding one Starconium Shard. A Starconium Shard can be made by placing a regular Starconium Gem in the middle of 8 Crystal Shards in a Crafting Table. It can also be used as fuel which can smelt up to 64 items / blocks.
- Meteorite Armor is now lava / fire proof!
- Over 450 new tools can be created from the new mixtures, all having their own special abilities. Click here for more details.
- 9 new Sledgehammers!
These inherit curtain special abilities like the new tools, and perform their jobs more efficiently than a regular Sledgehammer. - 10 different types of Nukes have been added for every type of Ore! Click here to see all of their cool abilities. All of the Nukes do not drop anything to prevent lag, and are mainly just for fun.

- New Barriers for each Ore that can be used to contain each Nuke, or make a directional blast. To Craft them, simply put 4 of their respected blocks in a Crafting Table. Click here for more details.
- A new item called “Crystal Core” has been added! This is used in the Nuke recipes but also explodes on contact when right clicked from your hand. Click here for more details.
- Added a new block called Refined Demonite. This is created when putting 4 Demonite Blocks in a Crafting Table.
- Added new items such as, Starconium Shards, Crystal Cores, Radioactive Ingots, and plenty of combined mixture Gems / Ingots.
- Because of FML’s (Forge ModLoader’s) ID restrictions, we were forced to change all of the Block IDs in CrazyOres. I’m really sorry, there was no other option.
If a message comes up with upon entering your world, with the options “Yes” or “No” it means that your Config File has been updated and your CrazyOres blocks are probably gone, there is no way to fix this, just click yes and proceed. - New options in the Config File to either turn on or off certain features for the Crystal Cores, Nukes, and Fire Tools. BELOW ARE PLANNED UPCOMING FEATURES OF CRAZYORES. THEY MAY BE COMING IN AN UPCOMING VERSION.
ITS A SECRET FOR NOW ![]()

Q: Why do I get a black screen or "Done loading" screen when I start Minecraft?
A1: You forgot to delete META-INF in the "minecraft.jar".
A2: You only dragged some of the files from "CrazyOres.zip" in, not all of them.
A3: CrazyOres conflicts with another mod you have installed.
A4: You installed V2.1 of CrazyOres on Windows. Download a more recent version.
A5: You installed a version of CrazyOres that is made for a different version of Minecraft than what you have. (i.e. CrazyOres V7.1 in MC 1.4.6)
A6: You forgot to install Minecraft Forge (See "Installation" section for proper link).
A7: Well, you're screwed. Just kidding.
Create a reply to this post with the error you receive and we will help you if you're not annoying. (Annoying qualifies as: "help me i crash help me pl0x!!!!!!111") The error can be found in "ForgeModLoader-0.txt", which is located in the ".minecraft" folder on Windows and the "minecraft" folder on Mac.
Q: Will CrazyOres ever use Minecraft Forge to enable compatibility with other mods?
A: As of V4.0, Minecraft Forge is required.
Q: What texture packs have textures for the new ores/items in CrazyOres?
A: At the moment, none. Any texture pack makers who edit textures of the ores/items added will be mentioned in this post if they contact me by replying to this post.
Q: Can I use your mod in a mod pack?
A: Sorry, but at this time, no.
Q: Is CrazyOres compatible with TooManyItems or NotEnoughItems?
A: Yes, but install TooManyItems/NotEnoughItems AFTER installing CrazyOres.
Q: Can I make a mod spotlight of your mod?
A: Sure! If you tell me about your mod spotlight in a new reply, I may add it to the post. In your video description, please link to THIS post, not to the MediaFire download. Thanks.
Q: I found a bug in your mod. What should I do?
A: Good! I am always trying to find and fix new bugs. Please report the bug in a reply to this post. Before reporting, make sure you followed the installation instructions correctly, you have MC 1.3.2 and the most recent version of CrazyOres, you have no mods that may conflict with CrazyOres installed, and that the bug is not addressed in the FAQ or in another reply. Also check that the bug isn't mentioned in the "Known bugs" section. If your bug can be replicated by me, a bug fix may be released for download. Please specify if the bug is in singleplayer or multiplayer.

The following bugs have been discovered and may be fixed in a future version:
- Bows look odd when being shot in Third-person mode (F5) or when being shot by other players
- Fortune Picks are not effective on the new Ores as of now
- Crystal mixture tools do not double drop as of now
- If a player is blown up by a nuke, there will be no death message displayed
- Arrows look a bit glitchy when shot
- CrazyOres ores have a weird overlay standing out when besides stone(Not from the texture, must be fixed in the code)
- When any nuke is primed, its entity image is messed up
