Is there anywhere I can get a list of "Biome IDs"? This is regarding the quote by Jeb here:

Quote

Each chunk has a 16x16 byte array with biome ids called "Biomes". If this array is missing it will be filled when the game starts. The converter doesn't include any biome sources, though (it had too many dependencies to be included).

I am having a lot of trouble finding such a list.

That stuff isn't included in 1.1. It is part of the 1.2 pre-releases.

Yes I'm aware, but I'd like to know what biome = what id, so I can actually start labeling things. For example, what id number is desert, or jungle, etc.?

How the hell is somebody men't to know that?
I scored 100% on the Minecraft Trivia Quiz. How much do you know about Minecraft?

I was hoping someone just knew, but since apparently no one does, I did the work myself. This is what each of the biomes look like, by id number, from 0 to 15.

Fairly certain biomes 14 and 15 are mushroom island, since a bunch of mooshrooms spawned. I also don't know if they go beyond 15. I tried generating a world for biomes 16-32, but it crashed on load.

Only way I know how to do it is through software. I know WorldEdit has an in-game way to do it but it's not easy.

Thanks, Quintinity! Now I could get desert temples by biome 2 with biome_1!
PROBLEM?

It's the phone you're looking for.
