hey guys my names chib and i was wondering...is minecraft a good game? i know you all are probably thinking that im stupid or something...but IS IT GOOD?!!! i saw a bit of gameplay at a friends house and it looked interesting but he wont allow me to play so i need to know.

Dude, you're on the Minecraft forums. Do you really think you're going to get an unbiased opinion?
In my opinion, yes, it's a very good game, I would highly recommend it.

Heellll yes if you like sand box and squares it's a great friendly game it's worth it trust me and with mods it's amazing and free updates with a one time pay on
an mmog it's amazing right one pay do it's your life

yes it's a very good game i would recommend if you love building.
if i behave weird in my post; it's not that i am weird actually. I like to pretend being weird just for the satisfaction of me and to make the community feel more normal. herpy herpy derp. btw, comic sans.

Yes. It's a great game. But, try asking somewhere else, because everyone here is going to give you the same answer.
The funny thing is, by the time you finish reading this, you will have wasted about four seconds of your life...

We all love minecraft because of these simple things:

1. It is randomly generated...You will always see new terrain and explore a frontier that no one has ever seen.

2. It has a survival element. If you are smart and cautious, you will survive. If you're not, you will die

3. It is the perfect outlet for creativity. Do what you want, where you want, and however big you want it. Want to make a scaled replica of the Eiffel Tower? Do it!

4. Great modding community. You can find mods from guns to alternate planets.

5. New content is being added to the game on a regular basis. This isn't a game you just play through in 16 hours and then move on.

6. You build your own home. Do you want a sky mansion, or a cozy hobbit hole, it's up to you and so is the rest of the game.

I strongly suggest you play this game, if you are creative this is the perfect game for you. And oh, don't let the graphics fool you, the game can be downright beautiful sometimes. And those moments catch you off guard almost like a real life sunset...

Unless if you are against creativity and sandbox games, it's good.

-The bad graphics are there on purpose and you can always use texturepacks

Pros:
-Simple and easy learn
-Great sense of achievement
-Newly generated map for each world you play
-Massive but enjoyable timesink
-Survival mode is challenging and fun
-Creativity
-You can freely build anything to your heart's desires
-Survive
-Can be modded
-Imagination
-Texturepacks
-Content is frequently added
-Multiplayer

Cons:
-Survival mode be unfair sometimes
-Bugs
-Lag
-Bad for people with short attention spans
-People who lack imaginations will have trouble with this game

Have you taken a look at the URL?

If you ever inherit a large sum of money (A few thousand) and you inherit it when you're mentally immature, put it into your bank account and leave it there until you grow, trust me on this one.

Slendermen don't exist. ENDERMEN and all other monsters can indeed be disabled by setting the difficulty to peaceful. And I don't understand why people are scared of endermen or slendermen anyways... They are both fake.
