Hi all,

I'm having an issue with NPCs now that I've gone through all the trouble of building one of those block, fence, slab exterior fences. I've put up "gateways" that are just archways with doors and a slab hanging over it on the outside.

It's raining and dark out and they want to hang out underneath the slab instead of going inside the wall, let alone their buildings. *sigh* ;)I think I screwed it up too much for them? Maybe taking slabs down from those spots?

You try to do a "good deed" for them and look what happens. :P

Anyway, anyone else try this yet?

Ah that's a bug, I have a rather big village and testet a lot of stuff.

Villagers tend to ignore the nightime and rain sometimes when they are socialise with something else, it doesn't matter what, everything with a face counts. They tend then to stand around the whole night till it's morning.

That is the main reason so far for freezing up on a space.

Posting screen shots. I removed the awning from the outside of one and the other one I removed the entire section of block. Going to see what happens when it's day and it all cycles through again.

Well that's too bad. :) But at least it's a known bug. Hope they'll get those kinks worked out.

I'm not really sure it's a bug, I think they try to find the the nearest shelter if they can't reach their homes. Sounds to me like your setup is to complicated for them.
