Welcome to the City of Tarkik!
A city based on Medieval Byzantium and Istanbul, Tarkik is a smorgsabord of a variety of cultures. Think of the New York of the Medieval Ages! It's being worked on under Project Targa, a upcoming, epic RP server with all sorts of goodies that I can't disclose here. However, expect a huge handcrafted custom made world, with big cities, interesting terrain, epic lore, magic, and awesome RP. Expect one of the best, accurate (aside from a bit of magic, mobs and lore) and interesting RP server to hit you soon!
Current Sky View of the City!

The Merchant District
Home of the traders of Tarkik, the Merchant District features a variety of smaller shops and residental areas surrounding the grand palace of the Prince. A few of the shops and accommodation are available to see!
Kuvvet Square
A popular gathering ground in the Merchant District, Kuvvet Square leds to Ummaki Way.
Ummaki Way
A path home to many shops and interesting services, Ummaki Way is frequently traveled for its accomdations and fair pricing. Be warned however, as through the gates lie the slums of the Wrot, a lawless society of thieves and beggars.
The Wrot
I'd keep my sword on me if I were to walk into the Wrot. Run by thieves, corrupt merchants, and no-goodiers, the people of the Wrot struggle to get by. Crime is committed often and unfortunately the area is neglected. Perhaps through roleplay a reformation will sweep through the Wrot, or it will succumb to the dark taint of corruption...
Ruins
Odd ruins which lie on the outskirts of the city. Rumor is they lead to dark, damp catacombs home to criminals and ruffians. Most people stay clear.
The Catacombs
The secret lair and meeting group of many dark guilds and groups in Tarkik, the Catacombs are ancient burial grounds of the barbarian warriors which later formed the Tarkik state. Be careful down there!
More screenies will be posted soon! The main architect behind the city is the brilliant Cirdanoth, a friend of mine and one of the staff on Project Targa. Many other members of Project Targa helped out too, so thanks to them too!
Interested in joining Project Targa? Fill out an app on this link, and we'll conduct an interview after seeing your screenshots or creditentals and give you a verdict! Be warned, we expect the best, or those willing to learn and train under the best!
