These delightful pooches can be tamed and trained with bones. They will become your loyal pets, getting stronger and more powerful as they gain experience. If you train them in ATTACK and charge them up with Redstone, they will gain a special fire attack. If you train them in HEALING, they can learn to heal themselves and if they are critically wounded, stop fighting and return to you for healing. SPEED training makes the Hotdogs faster, and ultimately the ability to teleport to your side if they stray too far. DEFENSE training will help protect from attacks. You can add armor for increased vitality and protection. These loyal dogs are more then hot, they are on fire!

Grumpy Letter G would like to rip out your GUTS, and give you a kick in the GROIN! If you manage to kill a Letter G, there is a chance it will drop something that starts with G, such as grain, gold, golden apples, or other 'G' items.




*** HIPPOS ***
Peaceful animals that love water.




*** ROBOT TED ***
Robot Ted hates Robot Todd! He will do anything to disassemble him. Robot Ted floats around bragging about how cool he is and drops 16K RAM boards when terminated.

Robot Todd hates Robot Ted! Robot Todd runs around making fun of how uncool and dumb Robot Ted is. He drops Batteries when terminated.




*** ATOMIC POWER ***
Combine 16K RAM Boards with Batteries and you have created an Atom Packet! Throw these in the air or at the ground and you have entered the atomic age. Throw more Atoms out and they start to fuse together creating an enormous force that affects all surrounding creatures and objects. If you don't want your stuff to be ripped apart by atomic forces, you better tie it down! Please use with CAUTION!

These creeps made of snow are the result of a botched experiment by the Evil Scientist. They shrink and get weaker in warm weather, and grow larger and more powerful in colder climates. Kill them before they get too huge!

Copy the contents of "COPY CONTENTS TO MINECRAFT FOLDER" into your MINECRAFT folder. That means you simply drag "MODS" and "RESOURCES" folders to your base .minecraft folder. Keep the directory structure intact and say YES if asked to overwrite anything!

SPAWN RATES ARE SET THIS WAY: Change the number from 0 - 12. 0 = NO SPAWN and 12 = MAX SPAWN in the MoreCreeps.txt file found in .minecraft/mods directory

You will either have to restart Minecraft or start a new world to see the new spawn rates in effect

Do not forget to delete the META-INF folder in your minecraft.jar or no mods will ever run.

You must have Minecraft-Forge version 3.3.7 or later and Custom Mob Spawner installed for MoreCreeps to function.

You do not need MODLOADER or AUDIOMOD!

YOU CANNOT PLAY THIS MOD ON PEACEFUL. NOTHING WILL SPAWN!




TROUBLESHOOTING
                                    


MC PATCHER INSTRUCTIONS ARE OUTDATED!!! THIS WILL BE FIXED SOON!!!

RUN MCPATCHER IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER. Here is help on running MCPatcher from the great JibberZen

Coincidentally, using MCPatcher would help you with both getting the error log AND with my advice on how to get things working.[/b]

• Make sure your Java is up to date.
                  
  
• Back up your world saves if you have any existing worlds you want to keep.
                  
  
• Delete your Minecraft 'bin',  'mods' and 'resources' folders
                  
  
• Launch the game as you would normally, so that the required folders that were deleted can be replaced.
                  
  
• Now use the MCPatcher tool (launch it by double clicking the MCPatcher .jar)
  
  • You don't need to use any of the fancy mods for textures that come with MCPatcher, so just deselect any of them for the purposes of troubleshooting this issue.

    

• On the MCPatcher interface you should see some buttons along the bottom.
  
  • Click the one with the "+" symbol on it
                    
    
  • Locate and select the zip file for Modloader and confirm the selection, then confirm again in the following window.
                    
    
  • Repeat these two steps for the Audiomod zip file
                    
    
  • Click the 'Patch' button and confirm what it brings up.
                    
    
  • Once the patcher finishes patching, click the 'Test Minecraft' button.
                    
    
  • When the game starts just run a saved world or start a new one, and then quit out after logging into it.
                    
    
  • Now repeat steps 1 and 2 to add the Forge zip file like you did with Modloader and Audiomod.
                    
    
  • Click the 'Patch' button again and confirm when it says it will only use files from one thing over another (this is normal and means it's working).
                    
    
  • Use the 'Test Minecraft' again to make sure the game loads without any problems, and run the world from before to make sure that works correctly too.
                    
    
  • Quit out of the game again, but this time quit out of MCPatcher too.

    

• Now open the directory for Minecraft.
  
• Open the unpacked folder from the .rar for this mod and go into the folder labeled "mods".
  
• Copy the two files from this folder and paste them inside the "mods" folder in the Minecraft directory.
  
• Now go back the unpacked folder for this mod so can install the sounds:
  
  • If you are using a PC all you need to do is drag the 'resources' folder into the 'Resources' folder in the Minecraft directory and accept when it asks if you want to merge them or overwrite any files.
                    
    
  • If you are using a Mac you will need to copy the 'creepsounds' folder from the unpacked folder, then go to the Minecraft directory and paste it in the 'sounds' folder (located: minecraft>resources>mods>sounds).

    
With the files for this mod now in place it should work correctly.
At this point it would be wise to make sure it is working by using the 'Test Minecraft' button from MCPatcher to launch the game. If it launches to the title screen normally then just start a new world to see if the mod works.

If, on the other hand, the game crashes or won't run this time around you will have a nice error report showing why and you can share it here so it can be checked.


Quick run through of the MCPatcher features you will be using for this:
[spoiler]There are several buttons at the bottom of the interface that you will likely find yourself using heavily:
Test Minecraft - this button is perfect for testing mods and making sure they work since it launches the game in offline mode right away and will keep the error report window open as long as you need it if and when the game crashes.
Patch - this button will take care of all that mod installation hassle for you (even taking care of removing the META stuff correctly). Once you have the mods you want to install loaded into the patcher menu and arranged in the order you want to install them (mods are installed in the order they arranged in the menu window with the top of the list being first). With some APIs and loaders, such as Modloader, you may need to run the 'Patch' feature in more than one go if the thing you are installing requires you to run the game at least once before installing anything after it.
Unpatch - pretty self explanatory. Click this and it will change everything back to the default package with no mods installed.
⬆ and ⬇ - these arrow buttons change where the highlighted mod is positioned in the lineup in the window above.
+ and - - clicking the plus sign button will bring up the directory interface to choose the files to upload and will then bring up a window to confirm which parts to install (generally you'll just go with what it has shown and click 'okay'). Similarly, the minus sign button will remove whatever mod is highlighted in the above window showing what mods you have added.

I GOT NO DROPS FROM BLOCKS AND CREEPS! - You need to get the latest version of Modloader. See link under REQUIRED MODS at the top!

MY MAC GETS STUCK AT "Minecraft is Updating" - Get a vanilla minecraft.jar folder. go minecraft.jar>net>minecraft>client and copy the "MinecraftApplet.class" then paste that into minecraft.jar>net>minecraft>client in the minecraft.jar folder that contains forge. Then your minecraft should start normally. Hope this helps anyone with this problem it was quite the hassle for me. [thanks cearc27]

OH, MAN, I GOTZ PROBLEMZ- In order to solve your problems, you must provide a crash report! Without this vital information, nothing can be done to help you. Read the instructions in this thread for creating and submitting your crash report. REMEMBER: use CODE tags when posting your report!

I INSTALLED THE REQUIRED MODS, BUT CRASH! Make sure that Modloader, Audiomod and Minecraft Forge are installed and working before installing MoreCreeps

NONE OF THE NEW ITEMS ARE SHOWING UP You are probably using a custom texture pack and need to run MCPATCHER first! Download MCPATCHER

CANT SEE ANYTHING - You have probably taken the textures out of the creeps folder! Copy the two folders inside of PUT CONTENTS INTO MINECRAFT FOLDER into your .minecraft folder.

CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING - You have either not installed AudioMod correctly, or have removed the sounds from the CREEPSOUNDS directory! All of the hideous and wacky sounds must remain in the CREEPSOUNDS folder, which should be located to your .MINECRAFT/RESOURCES/MOD/SOUND directory. Check to make sure that there is a CREEPSOUNDS folder in that SOUND directory. Double-check that you installed AudioMod correctly. The complete directory structure for More Creeps & Weirdos sounds is: .minecraft\resources\mod\sound\creepsounds

NO CREEPS SPAWN - Reset the spawns by playing on peaceful and then crank the difficulty to hard.

PROPERTIES FILE NOT WORKING The MoreCreeps.txt file must be located in your .minecraft\mods directory. If Minecraft cannot locate this properties file, the mod will use default values and turn every creep on.

I DON'T SEE THE CUSTOM ITEMS Your texture pack is probably the culprit. Change your texture pack to default and see if the items like Delicious Blorp Cola or the RayGun show up. If they do, then you need to use a different texture pack.

FLOOB SHIPS ARE KILLING MY WORLD! You can turn off Floob Ship explosions in the properties file. Just change the config to FloobshipExplode=0. Puny human!

FLOOBS ARE SETTING FIRE TO EVERYTHING! You can turn off Floob Ship explosions in the properties file. Just put a 0 in front of RayGunFire. If you want to prevent the RayGuns from melting blocks, change the config to RayGunMelt=0. Oh, the punarity of humans!

BETTER THAN WOLVES CRASHES! Here is a solution provided by wittenkwirk. Put the file called "BTWConfig.txt" into your .minecraft folder (NOT your minecraft.jar) Edit this file, changing "fcDisableAxeChanges=0" to "fcDisableAxeChanges=1" It should work now!

I GET A SPRITE ID CONFLICT! Calm down and edit the config file located in your .minecraft/config/mod_MoreCreepsAndWeirdos.cfg

I CRASH WHEN CREATING A NEW WORLD! Install Minecraft Forge last and this should eliminate the problem

Well.. judging from the perspective of having a mob trap on itself it makes EVERY drop from every mob unbalanced since thats the intention... i think its ok... the ones that don't want to exploit it that way will not do it since the purpose of having a mob trap in general is the mass production of mob drops... I don't think your mobs need to be adjusted or anything like that...

What problems are you having with your audio? It is easy to define the common response sounds -- put the soundbasename1.ogg, soundbasename2.ogg into your resources/mod/sound/ directory and with AudioMod installed it plays no problem. Are you getting compile errors??

I know all that shite, but whenever i test it i get no sound at ALL, and i get a lovely error from paulscode exploding and whatnot

I guess it could have been the sound files i was using?
I don't want to set it all up, code in the sound string, compile, obf, inject, load up, find mob just to check that, i've done it like 20 times and it's just giving me a headache

Hi, I like your mod, it works well with my other mods, but I think you might have to re-adjust your spawn rates a bit, i looked out my fortress window tonight and saw two skeletons, one human wander, and around  twenty rock monsters and ten of the invisible dudes all just outside my refurbished battle tower, while I was on easy mode, remember we need more diversity of creatures, not more saturation of creatures, maybe on hard mode there could be that many outside my door but not on easy mode.

Suggestion for a new mob; Goblin scout/raiding parties! stand only one block high come in groups, drop wood and stone weapons, very fast on their feet and do medium melee or ranged damage, but easy to kill, won't matter if a large group of these guys shows up, should be a lot of fun dispatching them.

Also have you thought about making alternative ways of dealing with your creatures, for example, trade with the invisible man and he drops you something, feeding the rock monster will make them drop coal or make them move off somewhere else,( they are a bit noisy, as you would expect from a rock monster. ) give the goblins tools, hoes, picks and axes and they leave you alone, or maybe come work for you.

Can I also ask what 3d program are you using to create your models?

Sand Worm:
They spawn on sand and will feed on both animals and humans. Special: They bury themselves into sand.

Treant:
A living tree, spawns on rainforests during the day... Peaceful until you hurt one of them or you chop down trees nearby.
