Assassin's Revenge is a map that tells the story of a young man, an assassin. Who lives in the kingdom of Kobran, kingdom of the snake, his parents were killed when he was young. He wants revenge.

I've seen many Assassin Creed maps before, but they all lack a challenging parkour element and a good backstory. Assassins Revenge fills that gap with it's amazing changing areas and a story that fits with the theme too. The environment has an olden era feel to it, much like the times of the Renaissance. The texture pack really does bring out the feel too, with sandstone bricks, dark unfurbished wood, no noses on the villagers so they look normal, well there's an entire list of changes, but I'll leave everyone to find that out themselves.
The map is a hard one, but that's not to say it's not fun. Challenging maps are good maps, they push you to your limit and increase your strengths where your weaknesses fail. Even I, the parkour king, have failed jumps before, all it takes is practice and when you have, you'll be able to beat this map just like any other one. There are also a variety of jumping areas in the kingdom so you won't feel bored with the game. The variety would guarantee you will never jump like the same area before.
Final thoughts from me would be to keep working on the texture pack. It don't know if you're a full fledged artist or anything, but damn! The stuff that you've created looks better than what I could do. I'd recommend finishing it, the final result would be rewarding!
In conclusion, Assassin's Revenge was a great map, on a rating of 25, this really deserves a 21, it's a great map, I reccomend this to all of you parkour fanatics and newcomers. Keep up the great work Neri!
for the texturepack: i like the armor, but you may wanna change the stone dagger into an iron one, because halfway the demo, it broke. and since theres goeing to be at least 5 kingdoms, your goeing to need it longer.
for the map: it was great! i like the system that you need to do things in a certain order, like that you need to kill the guy that lives in your street ( i can't remember his name) before you can go to the castle. i was a bit confused about what you need to do after you've got behind the castle gates. i know you can go up, but i just couldn't figure out what to do next and i had to break the door. and also, just like someone else said, you may want to put a sign after the king has fled, so you don't just run out of the castle gates for the rest it was great! keep up the good work!
It was a fairly good map,I thought the parkour difficulty was at the right spot where it isn't frustrating, but still a good challenge. I felt some things were a bit repetitive which isn't what you want in a short map like this. The texture pack was really good and provided extra mood setting to an already well built city. I felt like it would have been nice to have a use for the armor and weapons (Other than stabbing a random civillian) such as fighting a retextured zombie pigman. The zombie pigmen around the attacked pigman will react liek city guards by trying to prevent it's death.
On to the bad stuff. The plot was sadly horrid in my opinion. It was very unoriginal and repetitive which made me feel like spent too much time on the map than the story itself. There was also a large amount of grammer and spelling mistakes that really just destroys any mood or tension created by the storyline. The story was another "Parents died, you want revenge, evil king, important item".
Overall I would give the map 6.5/10 with high potential to be a 9-10/10 map with more thought and effort put into the plot and adventure aspect.
Hands down, this is one of the best maps I've ever played! Had just the right amount of difficulty... especially when I needed to find coins... I found 25 gold coins and the Assassin medal also. The texture pack was pretty epic also. But still, I am looking forward to part 2 of the map!... And I have Fraps, so if you need me to record a playthrough of one map, just ask! In the end, if I could, I would give this 11/10!

Oh sorry, but i sorta don't have the time right now, I will play it. But atm i can't because i am making a map (well 3 maps :biggrin.gif:, 1 portal map, cant update because of ichun... 2. paintball map, i need to update it and change some things, and atm a multiplayer map that uses SDK's gun mod) EDIT: I will play the map ASAP in fact, i think i'll play it naow :biggrin.gif:
Ok, I played it, It was great i liked it the only thing is, I'm not so good at adv parkour O.o and when it said the king is gone you must get out or the guards will come, i ran out of the palace o.o because it said get out... you might want to add a sign or something there because i didn't know what to do. so i broke through the place then found the lever... But other than that it was really good. And i love (what used to be) testifcates.

is avalgas out in the demo? (or what you've finished of it)
Well Avalgas isn't at the demo, but I finished working on it, and I don't want to release an unfinished version so I did the demo, well if you want to play the full version so you'll have to wait, sorry! :sad.gif:
I also thought I'll do an ending right at the end of avalgas castle but then I noticed that it's shorter than I wanted it to be. I want it to be my greatest project, with at least 5 kingdoms! I want it to be big! :3
