Is anyone else having an issue where instead of the play button on the bottom of the launcher it says play demo? The game is forcing me to play an updated edition of the Minecraft demo. I want to play the full version but apparently I can't because it only shows the play demo button.
When I got on my world today to play with the new update the screen was weired for a while. Then after a few minets it loaded my world but it wa all blue and whould frez for 10 minets. then for 1 second it will mov an inch. then freez again! then it will turn black and crash. Please help me with this
And I'm just derping around on the internet as I wait in agony for the day that I'll get a computer that can actually do things...
Oh yeah......goodbye 105 mods
Why must you people complain? It's a good update, enjoy it.
Go to the minecraft folder, click versions, and then delete everything besides 1.7.2
if that works then HOORAY
the update only adds stuff to the game basically. Anything you build any worlds you have should not be changed except for any chunks you have not loaded. Those will load with fresh stuff that is added to the game. If you want to play 1.6.4 (I think this works) when you open up Minecraft before you hit play, go to the bottom left corner and make a new profile. In this new profile look for where it says version, and change that to 1.6.4. Then you should be able to play the previous version.
Plus, I reported a bug involving the enchantment glint glitch...see it on the bug tracker.
I started up a fresh 1.7.2 Hardcore world this evening, did the usual first day or two stuff, and saved and exited. Loaded up just now and started immediately taking damage. Quickly exited again, thought about it, loaded back up, and was still taking damage. I wildly swung my pickaxe around a bit, broke through a block, and found that I had loaded up inside some stone and was suffocating. I think I had saved at the bottom of mineshaft close to where I was suffocating, but don't remember the exact details (I had saved quickly because my son needed something). But I don't think there was anything unusual about where I was standing when I saved - it was a pretty roomy 2-wide mineshaft staircase down. Seems like maybe I spawned a few steps from where I had actually saved and ended up inside the wall.
Is there some other way this might have happened besides a 1.7.2 bug? I haven't been playing MC all that long, but had logged 100-odd hours of playtime on the old version without seeing this.
I can't even get on minecraft now. it goes all crazy and shows me all the blocks and items and there look in a huge blue screen then crashes. It was fine until 1.7
What is your computers specs
It still needs lots of work...so much work that I really can't be bothered to state it all. However, I have made other posts stating some of the negatives.
I still like the update and will happilly play it, but that doesn't stop me from being disappointed.
Simply beautiful. I love it when designers pay attention to small details, because it's small things, like different varieties of flowers, keep making the game seem spontaneous and different. Not only that, but they made different flowers appear in different biomes, making them foreign to those who live in a totally different biome. The biomes that have been added are simply colorful and well implemented. Not only that, but they are adaptive to be placed by those that are similar to it. (Nothing worse than having a desert biome that borders a snowy forest.) I was also impressed seeing how huge the amplified worlds are. I created a new world today upon the stable release of 1.7 and I still can't stop playing.
Out of curiosity, I went to the "upcoming features" section of Minecraft Wiki, and they seem to be planning for 1.8. Now let's be honest everyone, how can this be topped? Mojang has totally outdone themselves again!
