Snapshot 13w43a is...Wait, What?

No time for explanations, the time portal is closing soon - it's SNAPSHOT TIME!

FEATURES:

New saplings for all three Hybrid trees.

Acacia Sapling, dropped from acacia leaves which share the oak leaves texture, which grows trees found in savannas.
Oak Roof Sapling, dropped from oak roof sapling leaves which share the oak leaves texture, which grows trees in roofed forests.

Added two new log types. Both obtained from their respective tree types.
Acacia Wood, which has a texture resembling jungle wood, but with less green.
Oak Roof Wood, which shares its texture with spruce wood.
Changed puffer fish texture
Boats have been reverted to the previous WASD controls
Player offset after leaving/entering a portal has been fixed

are cold ocean and cold beach biomes a new? I don't remember seeing them when exploring in previous snaps.

Well all you that are commenting " whats that red thing" it's Grumm (along with "Dinnerbone" wich flips a mob "Grumm" also works) a mojangster. He's hidden in all the snapshot pics this one there was nowhere to hide clearly.

Thank god they fixed the boat controls. That was a mess. Now if they'd only stop them from breaking when lightly touch the dock.

What's the ??? thing? People have said they've seen fish in the water, but I have not seen any. However, I do notice (this may have been implemented in earlier snapshots) that gravel now spawns near and at the bottom of ponds and rivers (and maybe lakes but I haven't seen a lake yet).

Jeb, i still love you, dont worry : ).

I Don't understand why you would be upset. My view on Mojang adding something that was previously a mod is: Mojang liked the idea so much that they made it so everyone can use it by default. I understand that you might have already coded it and now a chunk of your code is useless, but I see it as a good thing because Mojang will be doing the hard work of updating and improving the feature for you, or you could always re-write your code to remove Mojangs version in exchange for your own. Also it's not like you were getting paid to do the mod, and now by not needing to keep updating this mod you can work on a different one.

That's just my view point I would love to hear yours.

Actually, NONE of the leaf or log textures are "shared", they're simply identical. Even the "top" ones - one for each kind of log, but they're all identical. Just take a look in the texture folder.

Edit - Screenshot of resource pack with custom log tops for all non-oak logs.

It has the same word as a mod! Clearly it's a copy. Mojang are always stealing modders amazing ideas.
Seriously dude, I looked into your mod and it doesn't have "Hybrid Saplings." Also the saplings added in the snapshots are for the trees added in 1.7, like the roofed forest and savannah. I'm getting real tired of people doing this.
