The folks over at 57Digital are hosting a Papercraft contest, and everyone is invited to participate! Even better, recent updates to the popular paper-folding app now include instructions for modifying cardboard (like the sort they make boxes out of) into Papercraft shapes, expanding the kinds of models you can make!

Edit: Why isn't this app on Google play yet. Feels like Android users are being left out...
I have same problem as above poster, just I have paper.. and no ipod credits :/
Hopefully can get some money for it soon xD
Whatever. I look forward to seeing whatever everyone else comes up with--should be awesome and very interesting!
Did they ever SAY that? Also, how are they going to tell? You're submitting photos of little Minecraft figures/backgrounds made of paper. If the idea is you have to use the app, how on earth are they going to force it?
Pardon my criticism, but don't automatically assume the worst. Try to think positive. It'll make life a lot less stressful
Well, that makes sense to me. If Mojang was hosting a contest for building the best structure in Minecraft, one would expect people to have to have Minecraft to enter. So naturally, since it's 57Digital's contest for the best diorama made with their software, using their software is kind of a requirement.
And, seriously, complaining about four bucks? You can't get lunch for that, unless you like the McDollar Menu and don't eat a lot.
What big green button?
