GETTING THE NEW LAUNCHER
You need the most recent Minecraft launcher (if you do not have it already)! Remember, the old launcher is no longer supported, and you will need this version in order to continue receiving updates and support!

Having problems with Cntrl+Click translating into 'Button 2'.
Possible fix coming soon? I don't want to use this lousy mouse.
If not, how can i fix it?
Please help!

Hmmm seems either the login servers are broken, or Mojang is going to try to get people to pay for the game again
*Still massive block lag in single player.
*items are still bouncing up and down (for example, saplings/logs)
*villagers, monsters, and animals are still falling into the ground.
*as predicted, they fixed a beneficial bug and ignored all the bad ones (hordes of zombies at night, those were fun as heck! Now they are gone)
(Except when those Zombies call for their friends)
I'm less thrilled with the launcher. Staying logged in by default seems like a problem if more than one person uses the same computer (all ready kids banned from servers are quick to say, "My brother/sister did it on my using my account." Also, I was using MultiMC (which doesn't work with the new launcher so far), and the profiles, as I can tell, are only for different official / vanilla version, whereas I'm use to having instances that may be of the same version -- some vanilla, some with different mod combos. But, I've seen where the new launcher is still being expanded, so I hope this kind of function will be added (and/or MultiMC will update to support it).
I don't really care for the new zombie aggro range, it seems like just a little too much. Gave it a test run yesterday. Made a new world and waited for night, and got to see zombies coming at me from all directions futher then I could see.
Also ran in to a small bug it looks like, had a skeleton out in the middle of the day, just hanging out not taking damage from the sunlight. It did have armor on and it wasn't in any shaded area, just out in the middle of the plains Bio.
I have a server, i made a new map and when i try to find any horses i can't =(
I went to Plain biomes several times and i couldn't find a horse. But i'm finding lots of pigs.
Horses spawn in 4-packs and i'm finding pigs in 4-packs.
Sooo...?
That gets me MinecraftForge, but fml doesn't work; none of the real content mods load at all.
You don't need to create a new world. Just explore new territory and look for a plains biome in the new territory. I used a world generated in 1.4 yesterday evening and found horses fairly quickly once I found a plains biome in some newly generated areas that I hadn't ever been to before. As a bonus, I also found a new village and my first witch hut.
Just wait
This.
Profiles? Local version editor? What the eff is this crap? I only need 2 buttons: "Log in" and "Play Offline".
Agreed. "Login", "Play Offline", and "Options" are all I need
