Bug fixes aplenty in today's Snapshot, 13w25c! 1.6 isn't far off now, and all loose ends are being tied up for the big launch! When is it, you ask? Not long, now!

- Credits end too fast
- Dogs' health depleted upon world loading
- Keeping items with /clear glitch
- First my sound was off and I was going to turn it up, but when I did it crashed.

You can't create armor any more. They removed that from the game. (It was in for a short time.) Now you can only get armor by finding it in chests in dungeons or abandoned mines, and trading for it from villagers (I think).
I hope we know by next week.
maybe they will end up like giants, having to spawn with a light level below 8 but above 11
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't giants unimplemented completely? Am I misunderstanding this comment?
Minecraft 1.5.2 runs with about 110 frames per second on my laptop with fancy graphics, smooth lighting on max, and render distance on far while my screen resolution is set to the highest possible resolution. However on the latest snapshots i have to set fast graphics on, smooth lighting off, render distance on tiny while my computer is at the lowest possible screen resolution. I know it has something to do with the new launcher and the graphics card but what gives? Since I play on servers it's not like I have nothing to lose. =/
Their actually calling it the Horse Update. Though I do want more mobs, like a passive Panda in jungles, but I think they want to shift their focus on something else now that they feel is more important than implementing new mobs in the game...Like the Lighting Engine and other concerns.
It's Grum, not a cat
Joe: "I have a Siamese Cat when I wanted a red one "
Bob: "Well I have a red one suck it"
Joe: " "
[Console] Bob left the game.
Joe: *Gets lead and grabs Bob's red cat*
*Unable to drag away*
Joe: "WTF I thought this was possible"
[Console] Bob joined the game.
Bob: "Dafuq you doing to my cat"
Joe: "Uhhh"
Bob: "Oh you trying to do that bug"
Joe: "Yeah"
Bob: "It got fixed"
Joe: "Oh"
Bob: "Now get the F@$* out of my house"
Jeb. Do useful stuff. Don't add things until you've fixed the big bugs that are persistent through multiple updates. And maybe give us back the option for nice looking terrain.
Edit; lel member title.
I wouldn't hold my breath, the animal escape/suffocation bugs have existed since at least 1.4.6, which was the version I started playing the game in, in my experience it got even 'worse' after 1.5 was released...
nvm, wiki'd it.
Grum works at Mojang
EDIT: NVM post just updated
Agreed, I make the videos for DrZhark Mo Creatures and have used for many years and love it to death, but why put more things in whilst there are still so many things (that spoil my enjoyment of such a great game) that need to be sorted first.
The lighting really is in need of a workout, I hate to start exploring only to have to go up and into black patches to see if its a cave or a badly lit wall, as 1337doofus said, fix existing bugs, then add stuff after.
Also agree about the terrain options, man I used to love the freaky alpha worlds with craters you could turn into awesome caves to dwell in, with a glass room to see the stars and moon through
Love the game but dislike the process flow,
TG
It's Grum. How many people do not know this?!
