Snapshot 13w18a and 1.5.2 are live, and ready to play! Both can be accessed from the new Minecraft launcher (be sure to grab it now, if you haven't already)!

SNAPSHOT FEATURES

Added a coal block
Start of a new texture loading system. May blow up
Added crafting recipes for leads and hay bales
Added horse armour to dungeons

BUGFIXES

Green arrow bug on maps in frames
Mobs not realizing they killed their attacker and trying to attack empty space
Dogs wont stop snarling after punched by someone else
Despawning cured zombie
Lava decay fails to schedule block update
Blocks stop updating one minute after entering the Nether or the End
You can pick up command blocks with any pickaxe
Can't place carpet on translucent blocks

it would still use the fire block, which is a separate piece of code entirely. and short of a wide area light, we don't need more light types. oh, and if you want to hide light, try glowstone/redstone lamp under carpet.

Well seems you've never played on servers where all villagers were murdered?
Happens a lot on bigger servers w/o whitelist (greylist/building rights)
On bigger servers, Admin shops might be the best choice to handle saddles.

Horse Armour: Dungeons;OK, No recipe: NOOO!

EDIT: Is anyone else experiencing problems with the new launcher? My computer continually says loading versions, so I can't play any snapshots! I know it's happened on other computers to, so anyone else?

My computer runs on Windows 7, and I know a MacBook that does it to.

Bug:Trading with Testificates/Villagers is bugged,when trying to get a item,It wont let you pick it up.Hope this gets fixed,Cheers Doods and Doodets.

I haven't look through all the comments, so this may have already been addressed. But I own a mac, meaning I have a mouse that is all one left mouse button. In respects to minecraft, this was fine, since i could hold control to right click, as I do everywhere else, but ever since they introduced the new launcher, it doesn't work, it left clicks regardless. Meaning I can no longer right click, which is quite a problem. If anyone knows a solution to this (I am not buying a new mouse, so stop right there if that's your suggestion) I would love to know

Go to system preferences, mouse and make sure enable secondary click is on.

1.5 update was a bugfixing update more than a redstone update. What do you want? Do you want Jens to sit a whole year and just fix bugs, with no new features and stuff?

Also, what is game breaking? Less laggy texture packs? FPS improvement? A new poor mob? What annoys you that much?

Stop complaining about the Mod API! They are working hard to impliment it (and that is the reason why they maked a new launcher)!

Also, it is mojang. mahjong is a game.
