1.5.2 Pre-Release and...a Snapshot Too?

You heard right, it's a double-feature today! The 1.5.2 Pre-Release, as well as the 13w17a Snapshot are now available for testing! So how does this work? You can get these files in one of two ways:

THE EASY WAY

Download the new experimental Minecraft launcher (Click here, and select the launcher for your OS), and select which version of Minecraft you want to play from the dropdown box - no extra installation or effort required!

THE TRADITIONAL WAY

13w17a Client Download

13w17a Server Download

BUGFIXES IN 1.5.2

Jukebox audio volume doesn’t decrease
SMP: Anvils charge level for nothing when using languages other than English
Tamed wolves and cats despawn
Endermen are rendered hostile if they take environmental damage
Pick-Block and Furnaces
Achievement "Hot Topic" Uses Faceless Furnace Icon
Using the anvil for free
Arrows visually float when shot into a block
Improvements to FPS when using high-resolution texture packs
Many Realms fixes

Added a new “Hardened Clay” block
Added extra tooltip info in the search tab for the creative inventory
Made deserts more deserty

Cool and I can't wait to use this snapshot or pre-release!

Edit: Actually, the 1.5.2 pre-release are not working to compatible in mods and server, how sad.

Finally Damn Jukeboxes turn off when I tell them too.
At the Same time it was fun listening to music while muting the rest of the backround sounds.

Am I the only one grateful for the wolf/cat bugfix? I have NEVER been able to keep a wolf of multiplayer, due to constant despawning (no, they didn't die). Hopefully this finally fixed it!

You're doing it right, Mojang ! Zombies coming out of their graves is overrated and cliché !

I find it a bit annoying because they eventually spam up your game and cause lag.

I hate it when zombies spawn every time I hit one. It should be more infrequent, as spawning them almost like silverfish can not only make it too challenging, but can lag someone's game due to the number of mobs spawned.

The direct download links you have on that curse widget won't work with the latest snapshots.
Actually, has Curse updated the client to reflect the new directory structure for MC in the latest snapshots?
(I can't check myself at the moment.)

Do we have a crafting recipe for hay yet? I'm still really hoping they'll make it a wheat block... that would be -so- flippin nice. Also, you added hardened clay... >.> Is this just going to be a decorative block all by it's lonesome or is it going to have purpose? I feel like this screams "Part of a recipe" but I have no clue what it would be used for... >.< And you made no slabs or stairs of it... I was gonna make a Villa with a clay roof in the desert....

Some bugs/glitches I experinced in the snapshot:

Horse's front legs act weird when it lifts up in a minecart.
Can't put horse armor/saddles on horses.
Unable to place leashes/name tags.
When walking on carpet, makes sound of a full block underneath.
Cannot destory minecart when a horse is in it; clicking the minecart just damages the horse.
I will inform you people of any further bugs/glitches in the snapshot.
