That's right, the PC version of Minecraft has surpassed 10 million sales! Minecraft as a game continues to have a phenomenal level of success, with humble beginnings in the hands of Mojang founding member Markus "Notch" Persson, and growing over a period of years into one of the most successful indie game titles in gaming history, spanning PC, console, and handheld systems in record numbers. In addition, the recent changes to Minecraft in 1.5 - and future changes planned the game, including Mod API support, more adventure map options, and all sorts of customization options - Mojang continues to push the game to new heights, even as they get involved in the community, with everything from direct-feedback bug fixing to real-life renewal projects. With the recent TU9 update, MCX360 is hot on the PC version's heels, even as it introduces special goodies unique to XBLA gamers.
As promised by Jeb, a secret was revealed about 1.6, a feature many were looking forward to! What feature? Well...
Spoiler: It isn't pink withers!
How was the redstone update bad? It was freaking awesome!! I am eager to see horses. But what we really need are llamas.
Which is why I'd rather stick with just the pigs. Quirky and at best flirting with making sense is how I like my Minecraft. Riding horses just seem so... normal.
While I've found saddles in dungeons, the only time I actually wanted one (when I didn't have a couple lying around) I just went to the local village and bought it.

They should replace axes with jelly beans. Chopping down a tree with an axe is too normal!
You can already chop down trees with an egg. Axes are just the faster alternative. And chopping down the middle of a tree with an axe while the rest remains healthy and upright is exactly the kind of coy flirtation with sense-making I like in my Minecraft.
I give Mojang full credit, and benefit of the doubt in this case. These are the folks who added fishing rods for fishing... and Scorpion-esque "Get over here!" attacks. Their horses might be quite unique and charming and quirky and not-completely-sense-making.
The horses that just about everyone asks for, however, are banal and boring. If they go that route they might as well add guns in at the same time and call it the "Unimaginative Boring Rip-Offs of Every Game Ever Update".
the bloody pigs that are already in the game, de-nerf the pigs.
... I hope anyways

You don't understand. It's a free update and we don't have to use it. That's why I'm so angry. 8)
If only people were as passionate over the state of the real world... Talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth!

To be honest, I didn't think about making it a mount... I was just thinking a neutral mob that you could encounter underground. Now that you mention it, that could be cool to ride a giant mole! Alternatively, it could just drop loads of dirt, stone, and random ores upon death. Also, you never know, if enough people get behind it, and if someone decides to make a mod of it, Jeb might pull a "piston" on us and ask us if he could add it to vanilla. Unlikely, but maybe!
