A new Snapshot is out and about, ready for your testing pleasure! Here's what is on offer this week:
Snapshot Features:
_______________
- Added team based functionality to scoreboards
- Adjusted balancing of bone meal
- Implemented multiple snow heights
- Drops more snowballs
- 4th height fork as slab
- Crafting recipe for snow
Wait, that's not a very big list of features at all, especially considering how meaty the last few Snapshots have been! Well, that can only mean one thing: since this Snapshot is mostly bug-fixes and minor tweaks, the launch of the 1.5 Redstone Update is nearly upon us! Keep an ear to the ground, but in the meantime, give this Snapshot a test run!

Unless the tree is partially blocked, where it would normally take 2-3 to get one to grow now it would take 6-20
EDIT- actually i can make a timer with repeaters but i really want a sequencer
Yeah. that would be cool. Also, I think that powering a testfor command block should always testfor.
it is easy to make a sequencer. Here is a few pictures...
Which is a pain absolutely! But makes a hell of a lot more sense than wheat and potatoes taking 7 clicks per plant... and with the 2 meal per tree it would still have taken 4-10 or so... So it sucks... but by the point I'm trying to control how tall trees grow I'm usually not particularly concerned by using any amount of bone meal. >.> Especially because I usually use Birch if I need a whole slew of wood being they always grow straight >.> But if you want Oak I can totally see why that would be a huge issue being they are SUUUCH a pain if you are trying to farm them without restricting their height. I suppose same could be said of Jungle wood... :/
Still, I'm not wasting bonemeal on those trees! They grow up so fast!
yes that works fine but I wanted to know if you can use @p in a command block to get a player to join a team I've already written out said code but it doesn't work.
/scoreboard teams join Red @p
would @a work because then you can just do 2 separate lobbies and set your teams up that way with the square brackets and the radius command. If not when do you think it will be fixed
theres like 10 new blocks
this means 1.5 won't contain the Mod API after all.
Quote Mojang: We're gonna release the Mod API in Spring 2012! And by Spring 2012 we mean August 2012! And by August 2012 we mean November 2012! And by November 2012 we mean January 2013! And by January 2013 we mean WE'RE NEVER GONNA RELEASE IT, SUCK IT PUNK!
urrrrgh.... snow heights are vaguely useful, still don't get what a scoreboard is....
Back on topic, I'm a big fan of the new snow. But in case anyone was wondering, you cannot use the stackable snow to build a snow golem. Not that it really matters, I just found it interesting. I'll probably use the stackable snow to build a nice snow capped mountain.
<did-it-before-it-was-cool>though im kinda sad because now that cool feature you couldnt get normaly and was kinda a secrete, is now public and obtainable*sob*</did-it-before-it-was-cool>
*Huge lapse of time: 1.7!!! no,.. no modding api, butttt---- now the skelitons have Neo's AI and with come in squards and terminate-er you: oh and now it takes 9001 bone meal to grow a tree!-enjoy*
Though in Mojangs defense, the native support of animated and HD textures was a huge step in the right direction, i just hope they can stop getting side tracked and get the api -cuz- Tekkit , or more correctly Tekkit Lite has a basic form of modding api, yup you read that right. though i wish server and client would eventualy get murged into ONE download/setting to start client in server mode/hybred thing. Because i wish there was some server config option like: update to newest version: true, or something to update the server.
but still mojangs doing well, just their promises are hight. Also can you stop trying to make Minecraft make sence!!! Its minecraft-bonemeal is practicaly a branch of magic, water knows no volume, ect
