A big "thank you" to Reddit's RedstoneHelper for compiling this list, and MCF's own ZeroLevels for helping with proofing/checking!
Heheh I see why!
I've not yet tested this statement in singleplayer, but i suppose it only is like this on a multiplayer server.
That ruins my new years surprise
I also like the new mob spawner options; very useful.
Not really. It's nice for dealing extra damage when hordes of zombies are after you. It's more of a luxury than anything else, but I wouldn't call it useless.
It's probably best to do everything at level 30.
Well, my chests still with the same texture...
None of thos things are glitches. Mojang removed the fireworks from the creative inventory because, as lots of other people said, they don't do anything. You need to craft them with items, and they won't be added to the inv because there are hundreds (Don't quote that) of combinations for them. And you add the special things to the firework star, then craft that with the gunpowder, and paper, (star top middle, gunpowder bottom, paper middle.)
A warning would be nice. If it's there, I obviously missed it.
It's not obvious to a common pleb, if you will. It's not unreasonable to demand a warning either when a mere update can break compatibility.
I think it should be as obvious as saying, "why does my car key not work when the lock is changed," or, "why can't I figure out how to put my N64 cartridge into my CD drive."
I don't get it. Minecraft WAS supposed to be Medieval castles-and-knights, middle ages theme. Fireworks were not around 1500 years ago. Minecraft is just not what it used to be. The only things I see that are good in this update are the bug-fixes, Enchanting Books, and the new Christmas texture for chests.
Please do not keep the fireworks Jeb, they don't fit the Minecraft style!!!

Happy Holidays to All!!!

Are you implying 1.2.4 wasn't compatible with 1.2.5?
Wow, you're actually serious.

lol
At any rate, I don't really mind too much the lack of backwards compatibility despite my sarcasm.
