Netherbrick half blocks will be nice... too bad we still can't make netherbricks, fences, or stairs...... so the point of half blocks is what?

I dont know about all of you, but after seeing whats to come, as well as seeing how mojang has run minecraft in the past, i think at minecon 2013 they will releace "Minecraft 1.final" and stop updating the game (with exeption of maybe some game breaking bugs someone might find) and start to work on their other games more.

awell, Minecraft will still be my favoret game of all time, diamonds for you mojang !

When you put Netherrack in a furnace, it should make a Nether Brick. 4, or 9 of those in the crafting bench should make Nether Brick!

I think that there should be no recipe for netherbrick. I think that visiting a Nether Fortress should stay the only way to obtain netherbrick:D

Agreed 1+. Its about time they added nether brick slabs! perhaps netherackk slabs, too?

Been a while since I checked Minecraft News. Still haven't heard of that "embedding" concept, I see.

Netherrack is designed to burn (and not bake) though, so putting it in a furnace wouldn't make sense.

I heard that there making redstone more easy to use, so that might make my redstone contraptions easier make

apparently you haven't played minecraft lately... every time I go to the nether, it's one giant fortress,,,, just like the overworld is always one giant abandoned mine+cave system

I wish I went! I can never go to these things....

I find it quite sad it is already over, and i could not go, but hopefully some day I could.

The things you have to go through just to get the tickets and information about the con was so ass-backwards, it makes the whole thing just 4 months of stress and eye gouging.
