Minecraft World Management Tools, now in the Client!
Have you ever died in-game, or had your home destroyed by creepers, and thought to yourself, "Man, I wish I could just go back and do that over again"? Lucky for you, we have thought that too!
Are you ready for a savegame management tool that will let you back up and restore your worlds, quicksave on the fly, and even store backed up world copies on the Cloud, to free up hard drive space? The new Curse Client - Minecraft Update includes a host of features, including:
- Saved Worlds:
- Quicksave:
- Saved World Sync:
That's all pretty cool, but what about something special for the creative minds of the community? Any artist, modder, or equally creative talent who uploads their creations to the Client via Bukkit (for Minecraft), or CurseForge (for any other game), and gets 1,000 or more downloads will get FREE Curse Premium!
Now, the Cloud Sync feature is a Premium feature, but there are some exciting things going on in the world of Minecraft, and we want to help celebrate! For the entire duration of Minecon 2012 (Friday the 23rd, Saturday and Sunday), you will be able to test the Premium Cloud Sync features for free! No sign-up, no catch, just a client that will let you try the Cloud Sync feature, worry-free.
Ready to give the Minecraft World Management features a try? If you haven't picked up the Curse Client yet, click here, download the client, and give it a try today!

Me neither
They haven't updated the curse client for Mac yet. :/
There's nothing that force you to use that tool, if you don't like it, don't use it, maybe you love to see more than 30hrs of hard work and more than 200 diamonds hardly mined with no xray or any other help, but I prefer to save my world and thankfully now we can aslo prevent creeper damaging the world in vanilla Minecraft server and also in SSP if we wish too with simple mods. You want to see your house destroyed, don't use it that's all.
Now for the Curse Client, only thing missing is MultiMC in it and the world would be perfect, can't play without MultiMC, makes it so much easier to have multiple copy of Minecraft and have different version and mods in each.
I never ever walk with more diamonds than the ones I've just mined, and I go quickly to place them in a safety chest, but what would happen if your world save was corrupted and you had no way to get the savegame back because like you said, there's no undo button.
For the damn creepers, even if you light up the whole game, they still spawn around and the only way to ensure they won't is to have fences around all your stuff, they are ugly so usually I prefer to make sure they won't grief my house and that's it.
Seriously though, this is going to be a lot easier than my old way of syncing my world saves between my desktop and laptop.
