The 1.4.3 Pre-Release is ready for testing! Mojang has been hard at work fixing the many bugs found in the game - almost too many to list here! - and have prepared this pre-release for early playtesting! If all goes well, the official release of the 1.4.3 update is expected to be this coming Wednesday, November 7th. Check out the update, and tell us about it!
Also be sure to report any bugs you find with the official Mojang Bug Tracker, linked below.
The Wiki is starting to show up as a firefox attack site FYI.
So is the forum. The reason why it's happening is due to the ads Minecraft forum has. (At least that's why it was blocked according to the malware thing.)
If I had to choose between mods or minecraft fixes, I choose MineCraft fixes, so all those nasty noobs can't take advantage of those nasty exploits while nasty admins rage at each other for not fixing them. Good game.

Nasty much?
I, honestly, would say mods, because they add TONS of new content to the game. But on the other side of the road, I am sort of frustrated with all the bugs in modded and vanilla Minecraft. So I'm kinda 50/50 here.
You'd think the Forums or the Wiki would say something to those of us who use the sites... just to set our minds at ease. It's not really good for business to have Google stopping all your traffic with a doom panic warning like this.
I've had instances in the past where "reliable" sites like this one suddenly give me a trojan thru their advertising choices. So this is not something I take lightly. Rebuilding my entire hard drive is never fun (but I do it every year anyway just because it cleans up windows and helps boot time immensely).
Another update.... I don't get where all these bugs are coming from. I've never encountered any of them, and the only one i've seen on the list I know of, is the door dropping one in Creative, which has been there since creative was released.... ¬¬
I remember once a weird time, I was just playing Vanilla Minecraft and Where Are We Now started playing randomly? I got creeped and logged out. When I went back onto the menu on Minecraft it started playing again....

This is one of the very good reasons why I disable all advertising (and javascript) by default, and only allow those I've whitelisted to run scripts on my computer.
This is a great step in the right direction for Mojang. In my opinion, I don't feel that Mojang should be worrying about new content. I'd much rather them fix some bugs and work on optimization (And I guess Modding API, since many people seem to want that).
It's still funny at how many people are mad about mods breaking... lol. I can't believe they're mad that Mojang is releasing such a large number of bug fixes. This'll make mods probably run better and be less glitched, once they get updated. Either play on 1.4.2 with mods or just update to 1.4.3 until your mods get updated.
MC-977 was a major bug actually, especially for adventure map makers that use a lot of rails.

MC-977 actually happens on Single Player as well, and has since before 1.0.

Precisely why I'm here, trying to figure this out. Both the Forums AND the Wiki is being reported as an attack site. Weird.
Oh god SCROLL UP PEOPLE!
