1.4 is Coming, but In The Meantime...

The 1.4 Very Scary Update releases tomorrow, and we are all very excited about it! Many of us have already played the pre-release for excessive amounts of time, but what if you wanted more? Turns out Mojang is having a contest around the update!

"Contest, you say?" Indeed I do, and here's how it goes:

Make a scary screenshot in Minecraft. It has to be a screenshot, not a piece of fan art.
Make it the the scariest screenshot you’ve ever taken. One influenced by fear, impending danger, pain, anxiety; that kind of thing. You can wait for tomorrow’s update if you like, or submit it right away if you already have something in mind.
Submit the screenshot to the Hej Mojang page before the end of October 30th, CEST.
Wait for us to judge the submitted screenshots.

Cross your fingers and hope you win!

Contests are awesome, but what about prizes? We're glad you asked! Mojang has a nice, real-life foam pickaxe, signed by the entire Mojang team, up for grabs as a prize! That's pretty sweet, and not something easily come by, so definitely participate!

Minecraft is filled with plenty of scary moments, so get to taking those screenshots, and good luck to everyone!

I knew it was thursday cuz that was usually when its released. For the prizee...well.....I WOULD RATHER GET THE SIGNATURE THEN THE PICKAXE......thats the reason

The PCGamer article said that it was postponed until October 25th. Which is tomorrow. PCGamer was wrong about it being postponed, but they did reveal to me that there is a new pre-release snapshot: http://www.mojang.com/2012/10/minecraft-1-4-1-pre-release/

My scariest moment? When I was mining diamonds at level 12 and I dug into one and..... When I dug the block below it while I was pressing W, I ALMOST fell into LAVA! IRONically, ReNDoG had the same thing happen with redstone, but he fell into the LAVA! He was able to put himself out, fortunately! THAT was almost an EPIC noob death on episode 99!we can use any texture pack we want, i think

I can't submit my photo because the internet I am using claims that the site to submit to contains 'adult/mature content' Damn proxy based firewalls >.< Do I have any other options? because I've got what I believe to be a pretty scary picture on my hands.

I wish Sacheverell specified that the reason its not coming out today is because they made a 1.4.1 prerelease containing tons more bugfixes. Including mobs glitching through walls.
