- A new scary decoration block
- The “secret” from previous snapshots is now spawnable
- A new mob variant in the Nether
- Minor changes to the leather dye (the colors will attempt to maintain intensity, and not dilute as much)
- The “work in progress block” is now called “Beacon”
- Carrot on a stick!
- And, of course, numerous bug fixes

Waaaah! They stole from a mod!
Just shut up and enjoy the game. If Mojang sucks as bad as you say they do, you should stop playing their game and go support a company you prefer. We'd all benefit from your absence.
Bro its their game. Not the modders. Get over it.
How about try riding a pig while holding a carrot on a stick and see if the pig moves in the direction you are looking...? Sounds logical to me! :-)
If you duplicate your current .jar, dowload the snapshot and replace the .jar (not the copy) with it, you can use the snapshot and later if you want to go back to the old one you delete the snapshot .jar files and rename your old one minecraft.jar. Hope I helped
Though the method needs to be worked on a bit more. But good for starters.
I have every version of the game since 1.1 plus snapshots all in thier own folders and loading a version is as easy as a selecting from a dropdown box.
It's incredibly useful for previewing snapshots
Fly in creative needs to be a toggle button not press spate 2x each time.
still good work mojang
The first three questions are answered by reading the thread, the last one can only be speculated upon.
How can you add something that is taken out every patch?
/reading the thread
I take it it will allow you to move faster without using up hunger as much?
Well love the heads, new mob, new block, etc.
I wonder if Jeb_ can give an effect when a head is placed on a fence or nether fence, like attracting or scaring mobs.
