Mojang has been busy at PAX all weekend, and we have been bringing you some pretty awesome updates on all things Minecraft going on there. So, what's going on today, you ask? EvilSeph has reminded us that there is a Minecraft Panel going on today, at 4:30 pm, PST! Be sure to check out the panel - if you're not at PAX today, you can watch it live, on the PAX Twitch channel - click here to check it out!
Not enough Minecraft to whet your appetite? How about this: Notch has announced that Minecraft's "Adventure Update" will be playable on the show floor! The expansion, which is currently heavily in development, will add more than 40 new features in the sandbox blockbuster, such as NPC villages, additional farming activities, and randomly-generated dungeons!
Keep an eye out for more updates to Minecraft, PAX and more, right here!

Notch's Beard is At Stake!
Speaking of awesome things related to Penny Arcade; a few weeks ago, QubeTubers hosted a popular charity event, which was frequented by nearly every major Minecraft personality in existence, including a number of Mojangsters! The drive is still going on through today, and has cleared an impressive $70,000 in donations for the Child's Play charity! However, there is an extra prize for clearing that $75,000 mark:
Notch will shave his beard.
That's right - if the QubeTuber's Charity Event clears $75,000 before the event ends, Notch will shave his beard off.
So, if you want to help out the most awesome children's charity ever AND see Notch sans beard, be sure to head over to the QubeTuber's Child's Play Charity Event - there's less than $5,000 to go for a beardless Notch, and countless children will see the benefit of your generosity. Check it out!
More on this, ASAP! Thanks, fellas.
Freaking-Awesome!
Wait.... Thats like 1.5 words. ._. Im confused.
*Edit* Found it:
It took a bit to find it though.
I thought that said "There's countless children who will see a beardless Notch and benefit from it." for a second xD
For the xbox, I guess. I don't think that the PC would have even more NPC villages and Dungeons besides the additional farming activities.
If only if the event stopped right before the 75k mark... But don't worry, his beard will grow back.. in a couple of months.. maybe years..
One thing I really like about Mojang is now open they are to the community, and how they aren't trying to kill to get every last penny from anybody playing the game. Also, the developers seem to be just ordinary guys doing some extraordinary things.
Not really. There are some limits to what they can say for legal reasons.
Keep in mind too, these guys are pretty hardcore nerds that aren't particularly articulate. They try hard, but as could be seen with one question Dinnerbone tried to answer and then had Jeb at the last minute come to the rescue.... sometimes it is hard to put into words what they want to say. Asking them to wax philosophically about what kind of random number generator they should be using in the game is much more likely to get an articulate response.
Lydia did a pretty good job of moderating, although it would have been fun to get somebody from another game company in that position to be asking harder questions.
You can also be critical of almost anything.
???
But can anyone specify what Jeb said about the terrain? For me, it was hard to hear them.
I heard he wasn't going to make anymore changes to it. I hope I'm freaking out about nothing.
