Earlier, Jeb posted some teaser images that strongly suggested that we would be seeing various decoration blocks in the near future! The first image - which shows a zombie holding a wool block - was pretty mysterious, but the above-shown picture clearly displays skeleton heads along a wall. What other sorts of blocks do you think would be awesome decor? Tell us about it!

I know we have stairs and pads on fences, but that hardly counts. Not to mention those "chairs" are way too bulky and neither are functional to any degree. I mean, I'm not saying they need to be particularly functional. All I want is something to fill up those spare rooms in my castle. Also, meeting rooms where people can just sit at a table and talk, and also it makes dinning rooms, and bedrooms, and libraries and so many other rooms just that much nicer.
It doesn't even have to be complicated, just one chair and 1 table block is all I want. However, it can be a bit more complicated to be just that much nicer. For instance, if we stick with wooden everything then we can have chairs and tables in all 4 different colors. Taking it one step further, chairs could be crafted with wool to make cushioned chairs that can be in all the various colors. Then if function is wanted, simply make it so that you can sit in the chairs just like a minecart or boat, except you obviously can't move. Not entirely, necessary, but still nice.
Moving on to the tables, it could have a solid surface with four legs, one at each corner. Then if you want to make a larger table than just 1 block, you can just place an other one next to it, and then it would rearrange the legs to be at the corners of the now larger table. Not a necessary feature, but it would be nice for larger tables, and the stone fences already do a similar thing, so I suspect it wouldn't be too hard. And again, if function is wanted, then just make them work like item frames, except you place the item on the table instead, and it would just sit on the table. Items lying flat and blocks just siting on the table. if you right click with an empty hand , you pick up the item on the table block you clicked on. Unlike item frames, this would be a way to have items sit around for adventure maps where you can't break things to pick up the item.
So yeah, Chairs and Tables are my biggest request, especially if we're doing a decoration update. I mean, freaking flower pots got in before chairs. Not that I'm not appreciative of the other items, but it just seems like such an obvious thing to leave out.
That's just weird
-Skelleton's skull + torch = Skelleton's skull o' lantern, this will glows a place, smiliar to jack o' lantern
*When you place skelleton's skull on craftabble or the crafting (player's place to craft things), you make 3 bonemeals
*Make villager's zombie eyes texture black
-Rarely, when you are fishing, you can catch itens and blocks istead of fish
-Add stone guardians on stongholds, they have swords and looks like a statue, when the player aproachs, he attack you. (hostil mob)
*Remove Herobrine
pls guys, make this post getting up 4 jep see! plssss
¬¬'' Mirrors are a nice idea!
*JEB
How about chairs and tables?? They're pretty long overdue and I heard there are textures for a chair in the jar already. Other than that, what about the inclusion of dye-able blocks? With dye-able armor, I don't see why Cobblestone or Wood Planks can't be dyed as well.
-Place the wither on the nether fortress, make a single place for the wither, he will be the boss of the nether
-Add a mob on the nether called ''Warter'' he are too slow, and spawn on soul sand, he drops nether wart. when he hurts you, you will have the postion effects: weakness 1 and slowness 2
-Add a new mob, called: ''Demon'', he holds a golden sword and are faster, similiar to pigmans, but they are hostile, not neutral.
*Add a new block, called: ''Ghast's eye'', when you kill a ghast, the ghast will drop his block.
Pls guys, make this post up for jeb see! :3
Creeper head sssssssssss
- Placeable on the floor or on a wall, like a carpet or a trophy.
Do i dare to mention Ocelot trophy hides on the bedroom walls ?
Pitchforks,
placeable against a wall, somewhat like torches.
- would love if theyd improove the growing speed of nearby planted seeds, or increase wheatbundles upon harvest.
Hay Bales,
Placeable on wood or grass, looking like the small hay bales in real life. (a square with two strings around them.)
-Perhaps increasing the spawningrate of passive mobs nearby, or making them breed naturally occasionally?
Bones,
Placeable on any flat block.
- Might be Healing nearby wolves slowly?
larger Flags?
Large Flags with nice colours and golden edges..
- that can be hanged along the walls in my great hall!
Ice Cubes?
Not blocks, smaller.
-Neat cubic ones..
What i wouldnt like, would be furniture.
If furniture would be impemented, i would wish them to be hard to create. Painful to create.
Why? Because without furniture, we still need to use our creativity.
With furnitures, we wont really have to do anything on our own any more..
Hay Bale- Not my idea, but I support it.
Rock- Not a full block, maybe craft 4 from Cobblestone?
But anyway, for the Rock, it'd be a block that might be... The size of the Eye of Ender in the Portal frame. It would be purely aesthetic, and maybe not square, but more of a rectangle. Dimensions could be 8 long, 4 tall, 4 wide... idk XD
Liking what I'm seeing so far, though.
Because you cant really dye wood and cobble in real life , Wool can be dyed so it makes sense. Honestly I think mojang should make dyable Book and Quils so you could have different coloured writing in books
There actually the right size , its head is 8 by 8 pixels where as a block is 16 by 16 , makes sense for it to be small
Chairs and Tables - They could be made like Iron Golems; the chairs would be made by placing down a stair block and attaching 2 signs to it, this would then turn into an actual chair block that you can sit in if you right click on it. While sat on the chair, you could possibly regenerate a heart every 15 seconds, but sitting would not replenish your hunger. A table could be made with a fence and pressure plate. Placing multiple fences and pressure plates would make the table block larger. You could then place food and items on the table.
Larger Flower Pots - Flower pots placed next to each other would form together to create a large flower pot.
Fireplace Blocks - Fireplace blocks would be created by going into the crafting table and putting flint & steel in the middle surrounded brick blocks. Once made, the fireplace block could be placed on whatever opaque block you want. Multiple fireplace blocks could be placed next to each other to create a larger fireplace. The maximum size of a fireplace would be 2x3 and fires could only start in front of the opening of the fireplace, making this method of creating a fireplace much safer then the traditional method.
Bridges - Actual bridges would look much more aesthetically pleasing then ones made out of stairs and wood. They could be crafted by putting a row of wooden planks in the center, and a row of string on the left and right sides.
Vertical Half-Slabs - With the addition of being able to place stairs upside-down, half-slabs on the upper half of a block, and horizontal wood; I think the ability to place half-slabs vertically would help in creating complex, intricate structures and could also look very nice.
I will not be spawning in the Nether.
I live in my own world, and am far supurior than the Enderdragon. Therefore
I live in a world far supurior than that of the Enderlands, or the Nether.
