Snapshot Not Out - 1.3.2 Out Instead
A few days ago, it was possible to get the 1.3.2 update for bug-testing: now it is fully live! Be sure to update your Minecraft client from the launcher - it should prompt to update automatically, but if it does not, you can update manually from the launcher itself. Simply press the Options button on the opening screen, then "Force Update" in the menu that pops up. Easy!
The 1.3.2 update mainly consists of bug-fixes - two in particular being the random suffocation bug, and randomly falling out of the nether - no new features were added in 1.3.2 beyond that.
But...What About the Snapshot?!
This week's Snapshot was put on hold, to avoid confusion between a Snapshot test release, and the patch that went live today. Still, if you'd like something to whet your appetite for updates in the interim, Mojang's own Dinnerbone has something for you to chew on:
Also, this teaser image from Jeb, fresh from the presses - possible future invisibility?
unless you have to go down and mine for all the items first...
PvP just got super srs.
whats next for us snipers? crossbows maybe?
Do you have an anti-virus like AVG or something similar. If so you will have to temporarily disable it. I used to have the same problem some time ago until I spent about 35 minutes looking for how to fix this.
While this update might be valuable to you, keep in mind that there are others who see that this 'update' is too lacking to be called as such. I for one have never experienced this falling out of the Nether out of the 2 dozen or more times that I've been there. I would know, since set up a zombie pigman farm to collect gold. I might have been just lucky, however.
Well we dont want something TOO op
And maybe they reduce the range at which monsters see you
