Minecraft Surpasses 7 Million Sales
Minecraft as a game continues to have a phenomenal level of success, with humble beginnings in the hands of Mojang founding member Markus "Notch" Persson, and growing over a period of years into one of the most successful indie game titles in gaming history. In addition, the recent changes to Minecraft in 1.3.1 - and future changes planned for 1.4, including Mod API support, more adventure map options, and more - are setting the stage for a whole new generation of game. In many ways, the upcoming changes will allow people to custom-tailor Minecraft to their liking with minimal effort and hassle, paving the way for the ultimate user-made experience.
Congratulations to Mojang for the amazing sales milestone, and to everyone out there in the Minecraft community for making it what it is today!

Last I checked it had like 3 million
O_O
I don't even know... what things are there 7 million of? People in the state of Massachusetts? IDK even but it's a lot!!!! Congrats Mojang!
It's BILLY MAYS HEHEHEHEH *shot for unecessary meme*
I'm not sure. but I hope it's approximately what's-his-name or some other famous Youtuber who likes toaster waffles. :3 I seriously dunno...
OT: If Mojang is a hamburger, I bet it's the costly, high-quality hamburger that everyone chooses over all the other hamburgers.
(Translation: Good job, Mojang! Now give us beige dyes in 1.4!

You mean on MC forums, or MC being MC?
Congratz Mojang (:
But some people are having problems with OptiFine too like flashing terrain, and this cannot be fixed on some computers without serious lag.
The game hasn't "grown" into anything. MC is 95% the same game it was 2 years ago. We've been promised "underwater content" and mod API support and dozens of other features for nearly the entire length of those 2 years.
Minecraft is a premise that took off, not a game that took off. And I'm certain CubeWorld and others like it will continue to revamp and improve on MC, where MC improved upon Infiniminer and 'Fortress games.
Sadly, Notch is running away with the money. He doesn't care about MC or you players. He doesn't even dev for it himself any more. He has other projects that will, much to his chagrin, never match the popularity or value of MC. I got my money's worth a hundred times over with MC, but I still expected more attentive development.
The End is a ****ing joke, right? He didn't actually just add that near-meaningless "Ending" to MC, did he? Wow. Just wow. Did anyone even ask for that?
