- Villagers will now react positively on new trades, and negatively if you hurt them
- Villagers will not remove trades, but trading something else may be required to renew the old ones
- Zombies and Skeletons have new equipment, depending on difficulty
- There’s a new kind of Zombie, too
- Added the “Command Block” intended for adventure maps. It’s not craftable and not in the menu, but its id is 137
- A suprise block! This block is still work in progress, but will get a crafting recipe later on

In addition, Mojang would like to announce the second community-created app to be recognized as an official Minecraft-supported app, "Seeds - for Minecraft"! This handy app collects and reviews seeds to generate your maps with, including screenshots of the map! Each seed also includes user-voted ratings, descriptions of the seed and more. Give it a look!
They could make it so that red dragons are only in singleplayer. I think multiplayer is good enough without em, with all these plugins and all, but it could be a thing you turn on or off in singleplayer, like villages and such. Also, Audio loops would be a really nice touch to the overall feel of the game. Wish they would at least add those in, they don't seem too complicated.
Edit: And then I guess if you wanted to put your world on the LAN thing, you'd have to turn them off.
yes i agree
Those aren't bugs...
Also the beam of light does not show up for me... anyone know why?
Wrong. Zombies are SUPPOSED to catch in fire from the sun.
Well maybe not now. SINCE you can heal villager zombies...just a thought.
Thank you Mojang
Its easy.
1. Copy your minecraft.jar to something like minecraft.jar.original. Anything different will work.
2. Download the snapshot minecraft.jar, and replace the original.
3. Load minecraft and make sure it runs.
4. Create a new world for testing, and as long as you don't load the others, they cant get corrupted.
Er. To specify I meant you'd Have to turn off the dragons. Not the audio loops lol.
After reading this, I did a test. You need to put the block on a pyramid like these (although I don't know if you can make them smaller)
Note: If playing survival, you will waste your time!
EDIT: You don't need that many blocks! You need a minimum of 9 blocks!
I know that, I've always put them on pyramids.
I get the effects from the pyramids/beacons, just without the beam of light.
You can get one too!
