Install Minecraft Snapshot 1_5_1
with the Curse Client

...or download 1_5_1 direct from Mojang →
other files: minecraft_server.jar, Minecraft_Server.exe.


Fixes for 1.5 are already on their way, and you can test them early!  While 1.5 launched with few issues, there were still some to iron out, and many have been addressed with this update.  Keep in mind, while this can be tested now, it isn't officially live yet, and any bugs found should be reported here.

The 1.5.1 update is, barring unforeseen circumstances, expected to go live tomorrow.

  • Notable: Falling blocks no longer glitch one step
  • Notable: White stitching between blocks should be less frequent
  • Notable: Crash on Mac OS X on “OpenGL Function Not Supported”

Hopefully jeb figured out how to fix fps drops :/ but yay for updates :D

No news article for "13w12_?" (Yes, it showed an underscore on the wiki.) It was just an attempt to fix one bug, and was a "temporary snapshot" or something, but it counts. :P
Posted your server in discussion? You won't see me on it. If you can't bother to read the whole list of boards to find the proper servers section, how can I necessarily trust you to run your server well?

i need to transmit my minecraft files to another computer what do i do step through step please.

anyone know how i can get minecraft to another compiuter because i am getting a better computer for minecraft.

Totally off-topic, but...

Press the windows key and the "R" key at the same time to get the run dialogue box and type in "%APPDATA%" and press enter. Then copy the .minecraft folder to a usb or something. You should also copy the launcher to the usb too. Then when you get your new pc, do the same thing but place the .minecraft folder into the "%APPDATA%" folder instead of removing it.

wut you do to transfer is get a flash drive maybe 2 or more  gigs and to start and type %appdata% and rightclick on the .minecraft and click copy

then plug in the flash drive and open the folder then rightclick and hit paste

then plug the drive into the  new computer and copy and go to start and type %appdata% and paste there

Thanks! I was constantly throwing things on the ground or clicking too fast in the creative menu and it was starting to get annoying. Keep up the good work!
