Sometimes, it is hard to understand a game's development process.  How does a programmer succinctly explain how things are added, removed, changed, improved?  Here is one way of going about it!


So, what are you looking at here?  Each dot represents a unique file, and its color represents a different file type.  Links between files are folders.  Whenever someone flies by and "zaps" a file, it means they did something with it in real life.  You can see as people work on new features or bugs, as they'll fly past certain files and zap them as they go.  Neat!

Yellow beams represent file edits, red beams represent file deletions and green beams represent new file additions.

Mr. Hahdplaya, you need to make a support topic about your question instead of just posting under the most recent topic.
Anyway, I like the whole "blooming" affect, it adds a lot to the whole "watch people edit files and be amazed" thing. I think this would make a pretty good desktop background [img]http://static.minecraftforum.net//public/style_emoticons/default/meatcooked.png[/img]
I used to think arrow to the knee jokes were funny, but then I got a...OW!

it does give quite an insight, i was able to see when they chnaged the texture formate in 1.5
If the cake is a lie........ does that mean if i build a house out of cake my house isn't real?
Your sense of style is pathetic , I always look to java programers for style , because where ever they are , they always have .class.

Hell yeah it was. I remember everyone building portal frames in preparation... then the world got reset. Oh well.

I started playing during Alpha (can't remember what version, good times though, good times) but I got my own account during Beta 1.7 (also good days)
