The new forum software has rolled out, and we are all very excited about the new changes! As IPB moves their support to 3.2, so too do we upgrade the forum with some of the latest features, bug-fixes and more that will make the forums even better than before. We will continue to make minor adjustments to the site in the coming days, so expect such changes to pop up from time to time.

Also, I'm not a fan of the fact that people who had no custom avatar had their Minecraft-related default avatar replaced with something more generic. The update also broke my avatar. It's supposed to be an animated GIF.
Yeah, I'm getting hundreds of errors in my web developer console also, and a lot of 404s for images. It looks like this mix of multiple systems is not completely thought out.
Everything is so much slower than before. This may be what keeps me off the forums for good.
How do I get to the last page of a thread? Where did that button go?
Why do I care about latest news items when I am in the forum?, I had to see them on the way there, wasting screen space with that junk.
NEVER make UI changes that remove functionality without exceptional reason.
Again, thank you for all of the hard work that you've put into this site. I, for one, greatly appreciate it.
All the alls are broken. Welcome to the Cursepocalypse.
Too many people online. Or to many people keep hitting F5 in the mods section.
WHERE ARE MY WATCHED TOPICS?This is pathetic. (EDIT: found them, but it's still pathetic that I had to search so long.)Well. Now that all my watched topics are missing, I'm going to have to search for the topics I do remember that I was watching.
Oh, wait. The bling got boosted, but SEARCH IS STILL CRAP. Guess what I care about more?
EDIT: Okay, so watched topics got pulled out of the forum options and under a nearly-invisible gear tab in the top right corner, under an option that my eye passed over repeatedly, named "Content I Follow". "Subscriptions" goes to a page where you can pay Curse money to have your forum blinged up but its interface devalued.
The topic subscriptions page is not organized.
And you don't have anything resembling control over your notification options.(EDIT 2: Why do I have to enable edit options on a page where it's expected that I'll be editing my options?)On top of all that, search is still crap. Why can't I search by title, not just sort result titles by alphanumeric value (almost completely useless feature)? Why is it that links from the search engine still don't go to the actual post it found with the words in it when I click them?
Bleah. This upgrade wasn't worth it to me as a user.
Too funny
1. So much reliance on JavaScript(not that there wasn't much before) that it affects the page loading drastically.(You'll probably end up having to constanly multitab browse to get anything done)
2. All links, pictures etc are broken.
3. Even posts with only one word waste lots of space.(Actually, everything takes up lots of space. New, treads, etc. Even WITH adblock.)
4. All buttons for post options are no longer placed in one area
5. The last button disappeared.
6. Watched threads are screwed up, & arranged out of order.
7. Goodbye avatar.
8. The curse network error shows up just as often.
9. The search feature is still the worst I've ever used.
10. No hot threads. really?
11. It takes 8 seconds to give someone a +one
12. Profile pictures & forum images are merged & my animated gif avatar is broken as well.
13. The fact that nothing(important) is being done about it.
This is real BS. Also, where did that defensive post on page 5 go again? Change the damn thing back.
I'm surprised you even consider this an update. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
So, naturally, I ABSOLUTELY HATE everything!
Bulletproof is completely right, especially about number one. I can't post anything anymore, because if I reload the page anytime before like ten minutes after I click the "save post" button, my whole post is GONE!!!
I will be greatly surprised if this comment actually gets through.
On the bright side, this will drive more people to the minebook.me forums!
Anyone with a premium account, head on over to minebook.me for an ACTUALLY FUNCTIONING forum and social network!
Like instead of the post appearing nice and sleek, it's all messed up, like we can see the HTML tags and things like that. + links don't work.
I am very unhappy.
3. The current (and old) link system is FUBAR. If you develop a way to link prior posts (or provide a tutorial) there is less need to keep posting inflated quotes.
Thanks again
Lou
EDIT: Nevermind, I just had to go into the editor and save it, then fix a few problems with centering and font size.
EDIT #2: Well, it looks like your terrific new forum can't even manage some simple centering. It really wants part of my thread to be left-aligned. Time to rewrite the whole f***ing thing...
